A few days passed before I returned to the coffee shop. I went without Mia this time; she was actually visiting an old friend of hers. I wasn’t jealous or anything, I knew she probably missed a lot of people and wanted to make up for lost time. Besides, it gave me the chance to visit a friend of mine. Yes, I’m talking about Minseok, the most adorable barista I’d ever met, even if I had only spoke with him for a little while. He was cute and oh-so funny; everything about him made me want to just talk to him. And it was so weird; I hadn’t even known this man for much longer than a couple days, and here I was, returning to the shop just to see him (well, the bubble tea was a plus, too). It could’ve been that I was eager to make friends in Korea, or that I was just bored, but I wasn’t about to dwell on it.
Chanyeol was the first person to notice me when I walked inside. His eyes widened and a friendly smile appeared on his face before he waved and bowed. I approached the table a bit awkwardly, smiling nonetheless, fiddling with the belt loop on my shorts absentmindedly. The store smelt of baking bread and strawberries, and it made me hungry.
“Hey, Miss Bubble Tea,” he spoke in his almost unnaturally deep voice, a playful tint to his eyes.
“It’s Audrey,” I corrected, smiling instantly.
“Yah, you don’t expect me to be able to pronounce that, do you?” We laughed, and it was then that Minseok walked out of the backroom. He looked up when Chanyeol yelled out a greeting and I waved. He returned it with a nod of his head and came over to us, wiping flour from his hands and onto his pants.
“Hey, you’re going to ruin your clothes doing that,” Chanyeol scolded. Minseok only laughed, turning his attention to me.
“Did you come for your free bubble tea?” He leaned on the counter, a grin brightening his face. His dark eyes pierced into mine and I felt the back of my neck heat up before I spoke, returning his smile.
“Free?” He hummed in reply, laughing a bit.
“Yeah, since you made me drop the one from earlier.”
“It wasn’t my fault!” I said, glaring playfully at him. Chanyeol watched the situation with a little grin, unbeknownst to us. Minseok just rolled his eyes, smiling.
“Whatever you’d like to think~” I scoffed at that, “Go sit down, sillyhead,” he said, shooing me off with his hands. I laughed, nodding, before returning to the same table I sat at just days before.

A few minutes later, Minseok came over to my table, two glasses of strawberry bubble tea in his hands. I stared at him, confused, as he sat across from me and handed me one of the drinks, sipping at the other.
“Thank you,” I sent him a small smile, “Um, but, not to be rude, don’t you have to work?”
“I just got on break,” he said, laughing, the cute one that showed his teeth. I nodded, my attention returning to the bubble tea. I had never gotten the chance to try it before, due to a little run-in with Minseok. A smile pulled at my lips at the thought, and just as I was about to take a sip, Minseok spoke, startling me.
