"Take risks: if you win, you will be happy; if you lose, you will be wise."
This is another way of saying, 'we learn from our mistakes'. It is an attitude of a person that once we get something that we want in our first try, we feel confident. We let our guard down for a moment, unintentionally.
We got something that we want, that will feel great and you feel like you are having a great luck. You'll be ecstatic. What we forgot is that, those who lost gains more. How?
People who experienced defeat became wiser. They could double their efforts. They could plan a strategy more carefully. They could learn more in their experience.
A wise man has felt more suffering and defeat than a man who tasted success early.
