Ariel's P.O.V

I was sitting at home wondering what was going on and why no one was home. It's been 3 hours since they left the house and no one has contacted me at all. I decided to call Wes. No. I can't. That'll just cause more trouble. I'll call Mahogany.

*CONVERSATION*

Mahogany: *sniffles* Hello?

Ariel: Hello? Mahogany? Where are you guys? Why are you crying?

Mahogany: A-Ariel....

Ariel: What?!? Mahogany say something you're scaring me!

Mahogany: Nash is dead.

My heart stopped. Everything around me stopped. She couldn't be serious right now.

Ariel: You're joking right? Please tell you're joking and you're saying that to scare me.

Mahogany: No. Nash is dead.

Ariel: I'm coming to the hospital.

Mahogany: Please don't.

Ariel: Why not? I'm coming!

Mahogany: You're the reason why Nash isn't alive. You've caused all of this! No one wants to see you, Ariel!

Ariel: Well, I'm pretty sure Cameron or the other girls want to see me!

Mahogany: No! None of them want to see you! You killed our best friend.

Ariel: i'm not the one who punched him to death!

*Mahogany hangs up*

I screamed. "I hate myself" I cried. I tried calling Hayes.

Hayes: What do you want? *sniffles*

Ariel: Hayes, I'm sorry.

Hayes: Don't.

Ariel: Will you please talk to me? Where are you?

Hayes: I'm home.

Ariel: Enough said. I'm coming over and you're gonna open the door.

Hayes: Fine.

*Hayes hangs up*

I got up from the bed and changed my outfit. I changed into a red short sleeve cropped v-neck with black joggers..  I went to the bathroom and washed my face and took off all my makeup. I put on my slides and headed over to Hayes' house.

I knocked on the door and Hayes instantly answered. Before I could say anything, Hayes hugged me. He hugged me like the world was going to end. He hugged me like we were the only two people left on this world. As he was hugging me, I felt a tear drop onto my neck. "Hayes, please don't cry. Boys don't cry" . Just as I said that, more tears came down. "Tell you what, the hospital isn't far. How about I call an Uber and we go visit Nash?" I said. "My parents don't want me at the hospital I-" "He's your brother. You guys stick together no matter what. Go get your shoes." "I'm gonna get int-" "Trust me, you'll be fine after you see him" "How will I be fine if you killed him" I stood there in silence. Wow, even Hayes hates me, "you know what? You can stay home and never see your brother again, and I'll go to the hospital." I turned around and walked out their house. I called an Uber and started heading off to where I was supposed to meet it. "Ariel, wait" Hayes was running towards me, "I'll go with you"
