We entered a swank, retrospective bar off of 8th street. I've never had .so much fun in my life. James, Billy and I laughed and sipped on our drinks when I realized there was a karaoke machine. I grabbed Billy's hand and ran up on stage. going through the list of songs, I picked out my favorite APC hit.
C- "So I threw you the obvious, and you flew with it on your back. A name in your recollection, down among million same. "
C & B- "Difficult not to feel a little bit...hmmm. disappointed and passed over. when I've looked right through, see you naked but oblivious."
C- "And you don't....see....me...
James held his phone up high as he recorded our session. Billy and I really were oblivious.
C & B- "But I threw you the obvious, just to see if there's more behind the...eyes of a fallen angel...eyes of a tragedy."
B-" Here I am expecting just a little bit hmmm too much from the wounded. but I see...see through it all. see through and see you!"
C&B- "Cause I threw you the obvious to see what occurs behind the..eyes of a fallen angel...eyes of a tragedy."
C-"Oh well....oh well....apparently nothing. apparently nothing..at all"
C & B-" You don't you don't you don't see me. you don't you don't you don't see me. you don't you don't you don't see me. you don't you dont you don't see me. youuuuu dooonnt see me youuuuu don't. youuuuu don't. you don't see me at all"
I took a huge breath and looked around at all the smiling and clapping faces and froze. Billy grabbed me and helped me to the bathroom.
we walked back to the table. "Oh my god you guys that was EPIC!" James giggled and replayed the footage in his phone for us.
"Omg. you didn't..." I sighed. " I made a fool of myself I'm sorry"
"are you kidding? Maynard is gonna wanna see this" James smiled.
"you were really great" Billy nodded.
"Thanks Billy. you're sweet"
I llooked around and noticed people walking over to our table.
"you guys really are from APC! It's Paz!"
"No guys. I'm not Paz. sorry." I frowned. I think we need to leave.
"can we get your autographs?"
before we knew it, we were surrounded by people. "I'm sorry guys. I think I brought too much attention to us"
"it's cool. you think this is the only bar in la?" James grabbed me and pulled me along with him. I grabbed Billy's hand and we were off.
