My jaw dropped. I look up from my hands and stare at Charlie Rowe.

I think he feels me staring at him and looks at me. My face heats up and I can't control my inner fangirl and thankfully the head master hands me the microphone.

"Hi. I'm Callie and I'm also from England."

"Oh". Charlie is staring at me and understanding spreads across his extremely attractive face. He's figured out that I know who he is. The headmaster goes back up the the podium and makes a speech about something but Charlie has inched his way closer to me.

"Pangirl?" He asks me.

"Is it that obvious?"

"Considering you were staring at me the minute I said my name and you're from the UK and I haven't been in anything recently so it must be Neverland."

"Oh not just Neverland. The Winslow Boy and Never Let Me Go we're both amazing. How awkward is it that now you are going to school with a Rowebot?" I feel like I was too enthusiastic about his filmography.

"Not very. Just don't ask for autographs or pictures. I'm trying to not have too much paparazzi."

"Oh. I wasn't going to ask anyway." I always felt like that would be awkward.

"What year-grade-year thing are you in?"

He chuckled at my confusion. I smiled.

"Oh I'm in 10th. You?"

I was slightly disappointed. I was hoping that he would be in the same grade thing as me. But I wasn't too let down. I knew he was at least a year older.

"I'm in 9th."

"I'm taking 9th year French because I'm behind apparently and there's always the electives and lunch that we can hang out."

Is this life?

"Yes of course. I'm taking drama, chorus and dance. I'm guessing you wouldn't be doing drama. You would be just too far above us. We just aren't as fabulous as you are." I say smiling.

"No actually I'm taking drama and chorus as well. But I have free period instead of a third elective." The crowd has started moving. And we started walking along too. Continuing to talk.

We didn't talk for long before he reached his locker.

"See you later Callie!"

"Bye Charlie!" I waved him goodbye and made my way through the labyrinth of high school to my first class; Advanced English. My mood considerably better.
