Monotone is funny.

Most of my classes bored me. English was meet and greet and just talk about ourselves and the teacher would correct our grammar. For Science and P.E. I used the same phrase for each meet and greet.

"Hi. My names Callie I moved here from England. I like to dance. I also enjoy reading, drama and science fiction."

I have a Taylor in each class so far and quite a few Juan's and Jose's. Also a lot of Jordan's and Matts.

The lunch bell rings and I quickly make my way over to the lunch room with my food.

As I enter the cafeteria I hear a shrill whistle and someone calls my name.

"Callie! Over here!" Charlie is waving his arms about and signaling me to go over. So I walked over to him. He had three friends with him. Two guys and a girl.

I sit down next to the girl. She's one to the few I've seen with hair darker than the colour of caramel.

"Glad to see I'm not the only one in the state with brown hair." Says the girl. "I'm Jennifer."

"Nice to meet you." I say extending my hand. Jennifer shakes it. She's pretty but not overly gorgeous. Her brown hair is cut like Taylor Swifts from her "I knew you were trouble." video. Straight and bobbed with a feathered fringe. She had light brown eyes and a cute nose. She's wearing a gray Hollister sweat shirt and denim cut offs. Jennifer has white converse high tops on as well.

The boys introduce themselves to be as Kolby and Baylor.

"So Callie did you make any friends?" Charlie asks.

"Oh yes loads." *sarcasm* "I have a killer friend making catchphrase. You wanna hear it?" Charlie nods. I glaze over my eyes and put on a monotone voice. "Hi. My names Callie I moved here from England. I like to dance. I also enjoy reading, drama and science fiction." Charlie is laughing now and I guess it's because I looked like a robot.

I know I made one friend today.
