Ian's POV

I woke up to the sun blaring down on my face. I groaned, I really didn't feel like going to school. I never actually do. Though I won't be one of those 'high school drop-outs' that don't finsish school and never get a job. Although I didn't have a 'real' room of my own, at least I had the necessities. I had food, water, shelter, clothing and everything to actually live. I just didn't have a '5- star life', as most people do. I got out of bed, put on some cleaner clothes on, grabbed my school bag and walked up to the house.

I opened the back door slowly, making sure no one was there. Though as if right on cue, my mother and farther walked in. At least they were choosing to ignore me today. "Look, just leave him with the neighbours. We could get arrested for leaving him."

"Of course we can't leave him with the neighbours, they hate the kid! Just leave him on the road and no one will know. He'll be dead before any one notices." Curiosity and fear ran through my brain. "What are you planning?" I blurted out not thinking. Another thing I've learnt over the years is to not ask questions. I was preparing myself to either be hit or screamed at, but it never came. For once they remained calm. "Your farther got a job on the other side of town, and we're discussing how to get rid of you. Don't ask any more questions." I stood there unable to move. "B-but we're will I go? I'll die out there!" I could tell they were starting to get annoyed. "I don't fucking know! Just hurry and get to school." I didn't need to be told twice, I quickly head out the front door.

Anthony's POV

I left my home in Udania and was about to leave to earth and follow Ian. Life in Udania is bit like but very different from earth. At the end of each day when their human has fallen asleep, the guardians all return to Udania where they have their own home. It gets really boring after years on end, yet we have no other choice. Guardians also don't have families or friends since we are only here for a few hours and have to leave again. I'm surprised not many people have gone insane from doing the same routine for years in end. This is why I want to be a human so bad. I'm tired of the same routine day in day out, and it's almost killing me just having to watch Ian be at war with himself everyday. I sigh and walk outside. Also every guardian has their own unique gift. It can either be see the future, grow ten feet tall or something. Though we only discover what our "talent" is when we need it most which is kinda gay. I would love to have something that only I can do, but u guess I have the wait until I get it. Anyway back to where I was. For every guardian there's a specific teleporting point where they leave to earth. Luckily fore mine isn't too far and is just in front of my house. The houses in Usania are each customised their guardian's needs, which doesn't sound to bad when you think about it. You can change it everyday if you wanted to, which is why guardians don't leave their houses when they arrive back from earth. My house was simple, 2 stories, 8 rooms, indoor pool, anything any really needs in a house. I've seen others and their over the top some of them. I guess I'm just not really the interior designer type of person.

I walked out to the point where I teleport. I could tell what Ian was doing right now, he was walking to school meaning I was a little later then usual. Personally, I didn't like teleporting that much. I was about to leave when suddenly a barrier blocked my way, and I couldn't get to the exact spot to teleport. I tried for another few minutes before I finally gave up, this had never happens before and only happens to certain people on certain occasions. Most of these occasions would mean they had broken the guardian law, but I haven't! Have I? I looked around trying to figure out what to do and was starting to freak out. Ian was almost at school by now and I still wasn't there. "Anthony?" I heard a voice call behind me. I turned around and saw a spirit, technically they were the guardians of guardians if you can understand that. But instead there were only 5 spirits to care for all the guardians. This spirit had a sky blue dress, blonde hair almost reaching her knees and, although it may seem scary but it's normal for spirits, had shining whit eyes that were almost glowing. "Anthony I blocked you way for a reason. I need to speak to you about Ian." My heart sank, this could only mean something bad. "Ian has been very depressed lately and it's not improving. We think it's because of his daily struggles and we have an idea that involves you." I didn't really understand that. Dies that mean good or bad? "Does it mean I can't care for Ian anymore? Am I doing a bad job? I promise I'll try harder!" She giggled. "No, it actually means the opposite of that. We're going to be sent to earth and live among the humans and help Ian. That is, if you accept." I could myself slowly about to explode. "So, I'm going to become a human?" She nodded her head. "Disguised as a human to be exact." I guess she could almost feel the happiness radiating off of me. "I thought that would be your answer. Step over hear and I'll perform the spell." I quickly moved towards her and she closed her eyes. She started muttering things I couldn't understand and suddenly everything became dizzy. I could feel myself fading. "W-wha?" I said before collapsing. "Don't worry, that's normal." She said before I passed out.

Ian's POV

I reached school before class started and I quickly rushed to my locker, trying to ignore as many people as possible. I opened the locker and grabbed my books, making sure I didn't forget anything. I closed the locker and made my way to my next class, so far the day was going better then usual. Right, now all I have to do is- "Hey, Hecox!" I heard a guy yell followed by laughter and girls giggles. I ignored it and continued walking, but they quickly caught up to me and blocked my way. " Your not getting away today Hecox. I didn't get to see you yesterday." Around other boys grabbed me and pushed me to the ground, and I was soon surrounded by a crowd, eager to watch the show. "Well, looks as if we got our thing going on. Who wants to see Hecox get pumbled to the ground?!" A massive cheer erupted from the crowd as they were eager to see the fight. "Nighty -night Hecox." A jock said holding his in the air, ready to collide it with my face, when suddenly a voice yelled out from the crowd. "WAIT! Don't hurt him!"
