The Bad Boys' sunshine

Chapter 1

Annabelles POV

Ugh. I hate school I wish the holidays would just last forever! It's another normal year at Birchdale High for me but instead I'm a senior now. I've been through hell and heaven at this school but I'm hoping this years abit different. I get of bed and make my way into the bathroom.

I turn the shower on and get undressed. I step into the shower and let the water run down my cold body, I wash my hair then get out. I get dryed and put my bra and underwear on and put on my high waisted bleached denim shorts with a white crop top. I wrap the towel around my hair and walk into my room. I check my iPhone and see I have a new message from my best friend Charlie- From Charlie Barlie: Hey my beautiful best friend Anna am I picking you up today? X. I smile as I read this text, To Charlie Barlie: Yes please my handsome bestie x. I place my phone down put on my navy blue vans and start to fish plait my long dark brown hair down my side. I start to apply mascara to my eyes to make the green stand out and make my way downstairs.

"Good morning my beautiful mother" I kiss my mothers cheek. "Morning sweetie are you excited to be a senior now?" she asks as she hands me a plate of pancakes "Yeah I guess so I mean I'm still the same" beep beep the noise outside suprises both my mother and I. "Well that's Charlie here now bye mum" "Bye sweetie have a fun first day love you" she says as I leave the house. I see Charlie he has a shocked expression on his face but wipes it off "Hey hey hey Anna banna!" My best friend Charlie shouts as he pulls me into a hug. "Hey Charlie barlie" He groans at the nickname I've been calling him for the past 14 years. We get into his car and leave.

'Welcome back students to a New Year at Birchdale High School' the notice board at the top of the school driveway reads. We pull into a parking space and get out. "Damn shawty you lookin' hot!" a voice rings through my ears and an arm is swung over my shoulder. I look to my side and see Rick Ashton- one of the guys from the 'popular' clique. "Get off me jerk" I protest and throw his arm off me and walk away with Charlie.

As we were walking through the corridor I heard lots of whispers like;

Whos the hottie?

Damn she'd be great in bed

Ew look it's that slut!

I knew exactly who said the last comment... Indie and her gang again still being mean to me. Not that it bothers me but just because I got dared to kiss her Boyfriend River Samuels the schools' hottest football player who is with the schools popular cheerleader doesn't mean it was completely my fault since he did kiss back. Anyways this is probably why she calls me names ie: slut.

Me and Charlie carry on walking down the hallway to where our lockers are situated and see our other best blonde friend Cassie. "OMG Anna you look so pretty what did you do over the summer?!" Cassie yells in my ear as she hugs me. "Thanks you look gorgeous yourself, and nothing just the same old Annabelle Scott" I say half sarcastically. "Well whatever so this summer we were staying at our beach house and omg you would never guess who lived across the street... Scott Dawson!!" This made me laugh out loud. "You mean Scott from Luke Parkers' gang?" Luke Parker is one of thw schools bad asses, sleeps with every girl he sees and goes to jail every weekend for god knows what who has two other members Rick Ashton, the one who flirted with me this morning and Scott Dawson the one who Cassie is currently talking about "Yeah him and guess what... we made out on New Years he told me I was just his summer fling but who cares hes popular and hot!" "How am I even friends with you?" I ask sarcastically. We finish talking and I say goodbye to Charlie and Cassie as they walk to physical education together and I have history.

I walk into history to find Mrs. Ellen asleep on her desk and paper planes flying past me out the door. I walk to the back of the class and see Dylan (he's a close friend). "Hey hey Dylan" I hug him. "Hey Anna. Wow you look beautiful" He says shyly "Aw thank you" I squeeze his cheeks. We sit down and start talking about our summer holidays until were interuppted by an angry teacher who just woke up "EXCUSE ME!" We turn our heads and shut up. "Well welcome back class I see none of your guys behaviour has changed but lets start of quickly as I pair you up into partners for a project that is due in 1 month. I would've made this later but since no one woke me up were starting now!" Okay this was totally not fair me and Dylan look at each other and mouth 'what the'.

"Right random order from the register roll.. Dylan Bennet and Eliza Field.." she carrys on and Dylan moves next to Eliza he mouths to me 'yus!'. I'm still waiting for my name to be called out "Luke Parker and hmmm... Annabelle Scott." what in the world is going on? I didn't even know he was in this class! No this can't be happening. I look around the class for him but hes not here. "Um excuse me Mrs. Ellen but um my partner Luke isn't here.. so can I change par-" "I'm here" my head turns towards the door to see Luke Parker standing there with a smirk on his face "Well Mr Parker I see you are late but its the first day back so.. get in" I hate this idea of me being partnered up with the schools bad boy I don't understand why girls even like him, it doesn't make any sense.

I hear someone clear their throat and I look up to see Luke standing there with a wide grin on his face. Well this can't be good.. "Well hello there partner" Hes not the one who says this I am. "Damn I got a hot history partner, lucky I chose history this year." He winks but I ignore his words and he speaks again "So whats your name sunshine and how come I haven't seen you hot stuff around school before?" I look at him and give him an evil glare. "My names Annabelle and I do not like to be noticed alot and nor am I interested in relationships" he looked at me weirdly then sat down next to me. "Well how about you come to my house after school today and we'll figure this project shit out with pizza?" "Um okay" "K cool meet me in the parking lot after 6th period" "Okay cool" I say as the bell rings walking out of class. Oh god Annabelle what have you put yourself into?

"Give me my burger back Charlie barlie!" I scream as we are now in the cafeteria sitting well now standing as Charlie took my burger. He took my freaking hamburger! He shoves it all into his mouth. I was about to lunge at him then suddenly everyone stops and looks at the entrance. I turn my head around and see Luke Parker, Rick Ashton and Scott Dawson. Lukes' dark brown hair falls messily on his head, and his light hazel eyes are bright then his tanned face and pink cheek is just god damn sexy. Then his tight white shirt shows off his biceps and his black skinny jeans are just so hot. He is one beautiful human being. Then theres Rick the blonde. His hair covers his forehead and his bright blue eyes and pearl white teeth. And last Scott, his dirty blonde hair is combed over but its still sexy. His light brown eyes and golden skin makes him seem perfect. These guys are just GORGEOUS! I snap out of my daze and see Luke staring right at me and winks. I turn back and face the group. They look at me and then Cassie says "Am I seeing things or did Luke Parker 'the schools bad ass and player' just wink at you?" I don't know what to say. "I think he likes you Anna" Charlie adds. "Please guys hes a player and only wants girls to fall for him for one reason only hes not even the relationship type. As if i'd fall for him were just history partners thats all." "He takes history?" Cassie says with her mouth wide open. "Yeah I know its unbelieveable!"

Schools finally over today had to be the worst day of my life. Well actually the day my dickhead of a father walked out on my mother and I 6 years ago and didn't say where he was going or why he just left and I haven't seen him since so that was number 1 this day is number 2. I make my way into the parking lot and see Luke standing by his car. His car looks as good as him- "C'mon Anna banna let's go!" the voice of my best friend Charlie spreads through out the parking lot. "Hey um yeah sorry I'm going to Lukes' house for our project thingy I'll text you bye!" I power walk away from him and towards Luke. "Hop in m'lady" He winks. I laugh sarcastically and get in. "So who's your favourite artist?" He asks. "Hmm well I don't have a favourite artist but I have mostly Ed Sheeran songs on my phone but I like anything really.." I say awkwardly. Then suddenly loud music starts playing

Can you blow my whistle baby, whistle baby let me know. Girl I'm gonna show you how to do it, you start real slow. You just put your lips and come real close can you blow my whistle baby, whistle baby here we g-

I stop the song because it had become real awkward because of the lyrics. I look over at Luke and find him giggling. "You're so disgusting, why would you put that on?" "It's my favourite song" He smirks at me.
