The weeks past by fast one after another and everything was going good. It was time for him to meet my family. I couldn't just up and marry this man and not even show him around to my dad and older brother. My mom died in a bad car accident when I was in high school. So on my last day of our 3 week agreement I called my dad and brother told them about Bryson and that I wanted to bring them all out to eat so they could meet him. Bryson didn't know about it but as soon as he got off work I would let him know. I spent the day alone at his house washing clothes and cleaning up. After I was done i decided to get out the house and go shopping for a outfit for myself and Bryson for tonight's dinner. I wanted the night to be perfect not only was Bryson meeting the two most important men in my life but i would be telling him he would be the third one. I checked out places in the mall looking for outfits that would go good together. I finally found the perfect two, i payed for it and headed out the door to go make reservation at Legends. It was around lunch time when i left Legends so i went and picked up something for Bryson to eat and headed to his job. I walked to the front desk

"Hi! I'm bringing lunch for Bryson."

"His office is down this hall and the second door on the right." the man said

"thank you"

and i head towards his office. When i walked in Jasmine was sitting on his desk.

"What is she doing here Bryson?"

"Jasmine please leave." he said

She gets up and walks out the door looking me up and down like somebody crazy.

"Answer me Bryson."

"Kirsty we can talk about this when i get home."

"NO! I wanna know now, why is she in your office?"

"Okay but i can't tell you here."

He grabs my hand and we walk to his truck

"She's helping me with a case."

"What case and who is the case on?

"Lil Randy the big time drug dealer. Jasmine's boyfriend was shot and she believes it was him who did it."

"So you helping her out? After what she did to you."

"It's not about her Kirsty, if i can bust Lil Randy i'll get a promotion."

"So is this what you couldn't tell me about last time?"

"Yes, I can't let this get out and ruin my chances so please keep this between me and you."
"I would never try to jeopardize your chances of getting a promotion you could've just told me, but I don't like the fact that you're keeping in touch with jasmine. I can tell she still has feelings for you."
"Yea she might but I don't want nothing to do with her ass, she fucked up our marriage not me."
"Okay well here's your lunch and I'll see you at home when you get off?"
He walks me to the car saying thank you for the lunch then kisses me.
