Prologue

Wayde Valdus was raised to be King. His people had been led by his rule for centuries. He was a mateless, ruthless warrior king. Those who didn't comply with his rule were punished. Though he loved his people he was becoming far too overbearing in his rule. He was to only have one fated mate and at his age he was likely to never find her. His people knew nothing of the prophecy or the powers he is to come into when his mate is found, nor do they know what is to come.
