Chapter 13: New Years Eve

Megan's point of view

All of us were gathered round the dinner table. "Thank you guys for coming, ma and pa!" I smiled.
"Were happy and honoured to be here!!" My mom smiled.
We all dug into our food.

After supper, my parents had to go. "It was lovely seeing you Meagan baby!" My mom smiled, hugging me tight.
"You too mom!" I smiled.
"We'll see you again soon. I'm sure pumpkin!" My father chuckled, still calling me the nickname from when I was 3.
"For sure dad!!" I giggled, hugging him.
We bid our last goodbyes and the limo was off. "Thanks for letting them come over guys!" I smiled at them all.
"It's the last we could do for you!" Liam grinned.
"Yeah baby, is there anything else on your mind that you wanna do?" Harry asked.
"Can we cuddle and watch a movie??" I giggled.
"Of course we can pumpkin!!" Harry smirked, mimicking my father.
We ran up into his room. I took off my top and pants, and put on one of Harry's shirts, and left the undergarments on. I jumped on Harry's bed and he put on Netflix and we chose a movie together.

I woke up, still me cuddled into Harry. It's New Year's Eve! "Babyyyyy!" I said, dragging the y.
He slowly opened his eyes. "Yes babyyyyy!!" Harry smiled, mimicking me with his raspy voice.
"It's New Year's Eve!" I giggled.
"Is it now!" Harry smirked, pulling me down for a kiss.
"Yup!" I laughed.
I quickly jumped up, making sure Harry didn't grab me, and ran out of his bedroom.
"Hey you missy, get back here!!" Harry shouted chuckling.

Harry jumped up too, and chased me downstairs. "Ahh help me Niall!" I giggled.
"Oh my you two!" Niall chucked, lifting me up to safety, as he seen Harry coming.
"It's New Year's Eve!" I laughed.
"What does this have to do with anything?" Niall asked me, watching Harry walk away.
"I dunno. I'm sorry.." I said.
"Sorry?? For what??" Niall laughed.
"For this. If I made it awkward..." I explained.
"No Megan, you never made it awkward. It's ok to goof around once in a while!!" Niall explained to me.
I giggled. He laughed back.

I walked out to the living room was and seen Harry. He looked jealous. "Babe. What's the matter?" I asked him.
He sighed. "It seemed like you were in love with Niall. Like you were going to kiss or something!" Harry explained.
"Harry baby listen. I love you, because your MY boyfriend, and I'm nobody else's," I spoke.
"Are you sure baby??" Harry asked.
"I'm positive sweet!!" I smiled.
He smiled back and gave me a light kiss on the cheek. "Well in that case, I love you too baby!" Harry smirked.

It was around 8'O'clock and the boys and I were getting ready for a New Year's Eve party for 9:30. Harry and the rest of the boys got into their fancy outfits and did their hair and put on cologne, but it took me the whole hour and a half to get ready. I curled my hair, and did a sparkly eye look for makeup, and put on dark red lipstick.

As for my outfit, I wore white, 5' inch heals, diamond earrings and necklace for jewelry and a beautiful sequin dress.

I slowly walked down the stairs and noticed Harry wearing a tux, and so did the rest of the guys. "Wow!" Liam chuckled.
Harry turned around from talking to Niall and stared at me.
"Baby, you look unbelievably gorgeous!!" Harry smiled.
I stopped at the bottom of the stairs and smiled back. "Thank you sweet. You look amazing as well!" I smiled wide.
"Well, let's hit the road and get to that party!!" Louis announced, smiling.

We all arrived at another, huge, beautiful mansion. It was one of Harry's friends party's, Ed. As in Ed Sheeran. We all walked inside, my heels clicking faintly over the crowd of people being loud. "Babe, let's go meet ed, ok?" Harry smiled.
"Uh yeah, s-sure!" I smiled nervously.
Harry stopped and stared at me holding my hands. "Baby don't be shy. I'm here with you!" Harry smiled.
"Oh ok..." I smiled. "I'll be fine then baby!!"
We both walked over to Ed, hand in hand. "Hey mate!! I see you have a friend brought with you!" Ed smiled at me.
"She's actually my girlfriend, Ed!!" Harry exclaimed. "Her names Megan!!"
"Nice to meet you Megan, I'm Ed. How'd you two meet?" Ed asked us.
"Uh we kinda met through a contest. She was the winner and we fell in love I guess!" Harry chuckled.
"Oh I see, well I'll go catch up with Niall, Liam and Louis. You two enjoy yourselves!" Ed smiled and went on.

It was 11:30pm. Everyone was outside getting ready for some fireworks, and sparklers. Everyone had a sparkler in their hand and they got lit. A few fireworks went off as the sparklers did too. "It's soon time for 2017 baby!" I smiled.
"Indeed it is!" Harry grinned.

The time flew by and it was 11:59pm. "Everyone count down!" Ed shouted.
"5...4...3...2...1...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!" Everyone shouted.
Fireworks went off. Couples were kissing. "Happy New Year baby!" Harry smirked.
"Happy New Year to you too sweet!" I grinned.
We both leaned in and had a romantic first kiss in 2017 and under the firework lit sky.
What a great way to start 2017! I thought.
