Chapter 14: New Years Day

Megan's point of view

Everyone was leaving Ed's house, when Harry stopped me. "Baby wait!" Harry said, stopping me.
"Why? What's up?" I asked.
All of the sudden, the boys stopped to watch us. "I have a little something to give you!" Harry smiled.
"What's that?" I smiled.
He knelt down on his knee. "Do you accept this promise ring, Megan??" Harry smiled.

I smiled wide and teared up. "Yes Harry! I promise I'll be with you. I will accept the promise ring!!" I smiled.
He placed the ring on my ring finger. "That's a promise I'll keep forever baby!" I grinned kissing him.
"Hmm! I'll keep you forever too baby!" Harry smirked.
The boys were clapping and tearing up as well. "Sweet, I'm so happy for you both!" Niall smiled.
"Thanks Ni!" I smiled.

A/N: Just a quick note, it's a promise ring, NOT an engagement ring

We all got into the limo and we were all chatting. "Babe, I know it's fast for a promise ring but I was excited!" Harry said.
"Harry sweetie, it's ok. I don't give a care in the world how fast we move with this relationship!" I explained.
"You don't?" Harry asked.
"No baby, because I love you. The ring, it's amazing. I absolutely love it!!" I smiled big.
"I'm glad you like it, and baby, I love you too!" Harry grinned.

We arrived home. Everyone was a little tipsy but we all got in ok. All of us tumbled in the door, and slowly walked upstairs. I wiped off my makeup and got into comfy clothing for bed. The rest of the boys got nighttime clothing on as well. I got into my own bed tonight, because god who knows what Harry could do when he's drunk. I cuddled up into my blankets and slowly drifted off to sleep.

I was woke up at 5:30am by a bad dream and I was just left crying and crying. Niall must of heard me because he ran in. "Heyyy!! What's the matter??" Niall asked, still a bit tipsy.
"I-I had a b-bad dream!" I cried, more like bawling.
"What about?" Niall asked me.
"H-Harry was cheating on me. Then we broke up!!" I cried.
"It's ok. Harry is a genuine guy!" Niall tried to cheer me up.
I wiped away my tears. "Thanks Niall for the cheering, and sorry for waking you!" I spoke.
"Ahh it's ok! Get some more rest ok, your still a bit tipsy!" Niall grinned.
I nodded my head. Niall left my room and shut the door behind him.

It was 9:30am. I got woken up by the sound of my phone falling very hard and loudly. It was face down. I picked it up and it was smashed. "Gosh darn it!" I screeched out of frustration.
Harry came in my room. "Hey babe, what's the matter?" Harry asked me concerned.
A tear slipped down my cheek. "My rose gold iPhone 6s broke!!" I cried.
"It's ok sweetie. Is it still useable?" Harry asked.
"I dunno..." I said.
Harry grinned. "Baby, I have to go out somewhere, take care!" Harry smiled, kissing my head.
I grumbled to myself.

I walked downstairs to see Liam and Niall on the couch. "Hey! Harry told us what happened!" Niall said.
"Yeah..." I frowned.
"Did he offer to get you a new one?" Liam asked.
"Nope. He just took off somewhere!! It's like he never cared!!" I frowned again.
"It's ok Megan. He probably was in a rush!!" Niall explained.
"Yeah, your right.." I sighed.

It was an hour later. Harry arrived home. "Baby, I got you a couple gifts!!" Harry smiled.
I went out to the kitchen. "I got you some Starbucks!" Harry smiled.
"Thanks babe!!" I grinned.
"And!!" Harry smiled, pulling something out of a bag. "A brand new iPhone 7 in rose gold! Just for you my baby!"
My mouth dropped to the floor, and I began to cry. "Thank you baby!! I thought you never cared!!" I smiled.
"Hey!! Why would you think that?" Harry asked.
"You took off...its like you never cared..." I explained.
"I'm sorry baby, but does this make up for that?" Harry asked.
"For sure baby!!" I smiled. "Happy New Years!!"
