Justin's POV

That hurt.

It hurt so much I wanted to cry on the spot.

I knew Catrin to be the one that always smile. Never had a down spirit and she could annoy the crap out of anyone to get her way. Even Blake.

The look she gave me sent a knife straight through my heart and back.

"Don't call me that." She said before turning her back and walking to the door.

I got so angry. I was at the point where I thought I was falling for her but thar look.

The look of betrayal.

The look of pity.

The look of distrust.

It hurt and I couldn't help but think a guy like me didn't deserve such an innocent soul but if I couldn't have her, no one could.

I didn't mean to but I shot her anyways, right in the foot so that she couldn't walk away from me anymore.

I covered my mouth with my eyes watering. Dandra walked ovet to me and patted my shoulder.

"You did what had to be done, Justin, despite your crush on her. Well done."

Blake opened fire at the police who did the same. Ronny went over to where Catrin was lying.

Her brother was screaming and crying which just me feel a lot more guilty than I already did.

The police gave up and took Fred with them despite his protests, leaving Catrin with us.

I couldn't look at her.

It was too painful.

Dandra was helping her when I heard a laugh. I looked up to see a smiling Catrin.

"I trusted all of you. This is what I get for being calm and taking orders from you, a stab in the back, no I mean the leg. Thanks Justin. Thank you." She said laughing but this laugh wasn't sarcastic at all, it was real.

"Why are you thanking me?" I asked confused at her happiness at a time like this.

"You showed me the real you. All of you did. You know my parents never, ever wanted me. They would find any excuse to get away from me. When I got here I thought for once I had some real friends, people who care you know but thank you. Thank you for showing me that I am truely alone. I needed it. You taught me a very good lesson today. To never trust people, family or none." She said before blacking out again.
