Making a Choice

Sara's POV

'Why two paths?' I thought

I closed my eyes and sensed the darkness on the right path. The left path is light. I knew the afterlife would be with light so it would be on left path. Limbo is darkness which is right path. 

'I see now that god wanted to give me a choice.' 

I decided to go to the left path knowing it is the true afterlife. As I walked on the left path, I noticed the location had changed.  It is now land with trees, plants, and flowers.  I also noticed that I am no longer wearing the outfit that I always wore.  I am wearing a long white dress with white cape that is attached to dress. My shoes became flats as I walked. This place is very beautiful. I stopped walking when I heard a voice.

"Sara! My baby girl!" I turned around to see a woman with extreme long blond hair wearing a white dress with a trace of orange. She had blue eyes. She smiled at me.  I noticed a man next to my mother. He had long black hair that covered his right eye. His eyes were red as the color of blood. He was wearing white suit with his black cape. I knew it was my father whom I had been searching for but never found him. 

I noticed tears were coming down on my face. For the first time in the long time, I was crying. I tried to shake it off but I couldn't. I knew these tears weren't sadness but happiness. I smiled at them with tears coming down. 

I said, "Mother. Father." They hugged me when they noticed that I was crying. I hugged them back and let them go. 

My mother said, "We had been waiting for you too long Sara. What's took you so long?"

"I've suffered a great loss after I became a keyblade master. I've suffered a heartbreak for the first time when I was betrayed and abandoned on a island. I sealed myself inside my keyblade which it was hidden in many places by Keyblade master. I shared an heart with little girl who gave me courage to come out of my keyblade. When I did, I entered a battle with the enemy. I didn't have a heart to kill my friends instead I died in their arms. That's what took me so long to passed on." 

My mother said, "I understand sweetie. I am proud of you for making your own choices. I am unable to watch over you but your father was able to since he was keyblade master. Only the keyblade masters can watch over their loved ones. He told me all of the amazing things you had been doing. He was impressed that you managed to wield the most powerful keyblade. I miss you Sara."

"I miss you Mom and Dad." 

My father was shocked when I told them that I missed them. He smiled and hugged me. 

"I'm home now."

"Yes, you are home now." 

We started walking to a kingdom. Everyone that I knew before the fall of my kingdom was there. They were shouting, 'The princess had returned home!' as we walked to our home, the castle. 

"I'm home" I said to myself as my parents walked ahead inside the castle. I turned around to see my long journey and I smiled as I turned to go inside. 

I thought of all generations of trios that I brought back to life to end this war to pick up where I left off. I thought of my boys with their smiling faces. 

'Soon, we will meet again everyone. I will be waiting for you all. I miss my boys and the kids already.' I smiled at the thought as I walked down the hallway heading towards the door. 

'Sebastian, Vanitas don't keep me waiting. I forgave you for abandoning me.' Knowing that they already knew that I would mad at them for keeping me waiting too long.  I smiled as I touched the handle of the door. 

'Roxas, Kairi, and everyone, once the war is over then you are freed to live your life that I was unable to do so.  I am giving you all a second chance at life. Make yourself famous, part of history, a legend.' I turned the handle to open the door. Bright light shines from the door as I walked towards the light. Ending my journey once for all.

To where Sebastian and Vanitas are: Normal POV

Vanitas said, "I can't believe she is gone now since she died in our arms."

Sebastian nodded, "I regret abandoning her on that island when we were still young. I never knew that she would still alive after all of these years until she died in our arms. Do you think it time to reconsider?"

Vanitas looked at the sky, "Yes, what should we do? But I think Sara would wanted us to try to end the war."

Sebastian looked at the sky, "I think same thing. Should we join the light side in order to end the war."

Vanitas looked at the clouds, "Yeah."

"Now we made our choice to change side. Can I say something about Sara?"

"Go ahead."

"When I first met her, I thought she would be weak and useless but after seeing her fight, I was wrong, she is most powerful and full of something."

"Courage?"

"Yes that was the word I was looking for." Sebastian said.

Vanitas pointed at the clouds, "Yes, Sara was different from most girls. I regret breaking her heart and abandoning her on that horrible island so she would be replaced. I want to see Sara again." 

"I want to see her again."

'Sebastian, Vanitas don't keep me waiting. I forgave you for abandoning me.' 

They both heard that voice. 

"Did we just hear-"

"Sara's voice. I believe so." 

"She made it to afterlife already and waiting for us." Vanitas smiled with tears coming down for the first time. 

Sebastian was too crying and smiling at the same time, "We will see her again."

"Soon"

Vanitas, "Maybe we should stay together with Sara as a trio once again when we go to the afterlife."

"I was about to say same thing."

"The war is starting already without us. Shall we go to end the war?"

"Yes"

They opened the portal to the war's battlefield to assist the light side. Before entering the portal.

Vanitas said, "For Sara?"

"For Sara." Sebastian said.

They were about to enter the portal with the very same thought in their head.

'Sara, we will be there soon. We won't keep you waiting for us. We are happy that you forgave us after all of these years. Thank you for forgiving us.'

With that thought in their head, they remember many things of Sara...Sara's smiling face, her kindness, her personality, her love for them, and her courage. As they stepped into the portal.

It've been a while since I post a chapter. The surgery took a lot of energy out of me. When I came home from the surgery last month, I slept almost entire day and didn't even wrote any chapters. I go back to school on Monday and I got bunch of homework to do. Ugh I hate homework. It is a pain in the butt but it is part of life. Life can be cruel. I will try to finish this story before the spring, so I can work on the sequel and other stories.
