Callie's POV
Talya! Every time I hear that name I just want to strangle her to death but then I would have to figure out where to hide the corpse so that won't work. I shouldn't have these thoughts but after everything that has happened between me and Brandon I just need a break from this place so the only people I think I can vent to about everything is Mari and Jesus. I call both of them on to the back porch they come out and so does Brandon but, he is going to the garage so he can practice his piano I think. "What do I do Jesus he keeps messing with my emotions? I love him but I can't keep being stung along this string he has me on and I can't take him playing with me. I know he loves me but him and Talya is what really gets my blood boiling. I want to kill her but I know that I would need help hiding the body. Jesus chuckles and says "I'll bring the car around" and Mari says "I'll go grab the duck tape and trash bags. I laugh at all of their jokes about it "do you really want the truth about Brandon?" Jesus asks "yes I do" I say "I know you love him but you have to move on from him I wish their was another way, but the way he is treating you makes you miserable and I want you to meet my friend Jonah and just hang out with him." Jesus says truthfully "Can I at least talk to Brandon first to see if he will be honest with me and then I have my closure so that I could move on?" I ask them truthfully "yea just be quick though okay I will wait outside the door." Jesus tells me " I wouldn't expect anything less from you" I tell him heading towards the garage door I take a deep breath grab the handle and walk in and to my surprise it was only Brandon I figured he would have snuck Talya in through the window or something. He looks up from his piano at me "Callie what's up I was just practicing my new piece I've been working on." He tells me looking tired from the day " I just need to ask you a question?" I tell him turning from brave to nervous in a matter of seconds. ''Sure ask me anything I won't lie about it." I mentally prepare myself for the bone-crushing pain I'm about to feel. "What is your relationship with Talya? I couldn't care less if your with her or not I just need to know." I say feeling a weight pulled off my chest. "Talya and I are a thing again I'm sorry it just happened." He tells me truthfully I feel like I was just donkey kicked by an elephant in my chest but I swallow my tears and tell him this feeling very brave. "Thanks for being honest with me I finally got the closure I needed I hope one day we can both do what we feel is right in the future." Brandon looks shocked "I'm sorry Callie I didn't mean to hurt you." I cut him off "don't apologize I get it and I hope to be friends and move past this." " I would really love that Callie and I hope we do what we feel is right as well." He walks over kisses my forehead and then gives me a hug to which I accept but I'm internally crying inside. I walk out of the garage to run right into Jesus. "Hey Jesus can you introduce me to this Jonah friend of yours I would love to meet him. I tell him putting on a brave face. "What happened in there?" He asks looks sad for me "He choose her and I finally got my closure I needed once and for all." I tell him about to cry "oh Callie I'm sorry that is such a jerk moving on will help you so, yes I will introduce you to Jonah and I hope you guys can become friends first and then see where it goes he is such a nice guy. " "Thank you I love you Jesus " I say hugging him he chuckles and replies "I love you too Callie always and forever sis." I go inside the house and play video games with Jesus and Jude the rest of the day.
Could today get any better than this? I guess not I'm excited to meet Jonah I wonder what he looks like and I hope he is good looking or just hot in general. I'm sitting here playing a game with Jude and Connor when the doorbell rings I pause the game to go open the door and....
