"Stupid... dang... leader... keeping... me... here..." With each word, you punch the bed. After you let out the stress, you grumpily sit on the mattress.

You're acting like a child...

You wondered if you would slowly die here, wherever the hell this place is. For some reason, you took comfort in the solitude. You didn't have to worry about strangers in the same room as you, possibly thinking about killing you.

"(Y/N)?"

You look towards the door and see Seokjin. He had a kind smile on his handsome face. You couldn't help but be suspicious if it was fake or not. He sits down next to you and asks cautiously, "Have you calmed down?"

You nod. "It's just too much right now. So much is going on in one day..."

"Can't blame you. We gave you a lot of stress."

You fiddle with your hands, not meeting Seokjin's eyes.

"Guess I'm going to be here a long time huh?" you say.

Seokjin falls silent. "I'm sorry."

You look at him and he looks back at you. "Why are you sorry?" you ask. "I'm sure you did the best you could."

He looked like he was actually sorry. Don't trust him, a small voice in your head says. He's part of a gang. For all you know he probably manipulates people and makes them feel safe.

You felt a partial truth to this. You had no idea who he was. You didn't know why he was nice to you. It made you feel suspicious.

"Why are you so nice to me?" you ask.

Seokjin looks away and stares at the wall opposite of them. "You're a girl. I should be nice," he says.

You scoff. "Sure."

A knock sounds from the door. Your eyes turn towards it. To your surprise, the hurt man, Hoseok, was walking through it. He wasn't wearing the mask so you saw his beautiful features. You weren't expecting to see him up and about so soon. "Jin hyung, can I speak with her?" he asks.

Seokjin smiles. "Yeah."

Seokjin leaves the room, leaving you with Hoseok.

He awkwardly stands there. You stand up and ask, "How are you feeling?"

"Better. It still hurts but I'll live," he says.

You nod. "I weren't expecting that you'd wake up this quickly. I thought you were going to sleep more."

He shrugs a bit. "I heal quickly, I guess."

There was an excruciating awkward silence. After a while, Hoseok mutters, "Thank you."

You blink at him. "What?"

"Thank you," he repeats.

You smile. "No problem. Happy to help."

He meets your eyes and you saw beauty in his eyes. They held a sparkle in them that you couldn't describe. And then he does something that surprises you yet again. Hoseok smiles.

You felt your heart skip a beat. Oh boy... you think.

----------

You sit alone in your room. Your head was resting against the wall. The coolness felt nice.

So far, all you knew about the gang was that they were very attractive. You also knew that there were seven people but you didn't know two of their names. Seokjin told you earlier what their gang was called.

Bangtan gang... where have I heard that?

Your mind wanders and does some more thinking. Then it clicks.

The Bangtan gang were notorious for their vicious crimes fighting the police. One of the members were famous for assassinations, another for explosives, another for drug trafficking, another for their brute strength, another for prostitution, and another for kidnapping.

Their leader was always in the dark, hiding in the shadows of the dark parts of South Korea. The cops could never find him. Even with the public eye on the look out, it was damn near impossible.

I am in the same building as the most dangerous people in all of South Korea... I'm surprised I'm not dead yet.

The door opens, revealing Jungkook. He stands there holding a tray of food. Wow. They are civil enough to feed me. They never fail to surprise me.

He walks over to the bed and sets it down on the sheet. "When you're done, just leave it by the door," he orders.

You nod. He walks away but you call to him. "Hey."

Jungkook stops and turns around. "Thank you," you say.

He gives what seems to be a slight nod and walks out. You glance at the tray and see soup and rice. It was plain, but at least it was better than starving.

You slowly eat your food. You listen to the sound of your chewing. A sigh escapes through your nose.

Out of nowhere, you start to hum the Korean folk song, Arirang. Then the words come out.

Arirang, Arirang, Arariyo...
Crossing over Arirang Pass.
The one who abandoned me
Shall not walk even 4 kilometers before their feet hurt.

After repeating the lines several times, you finish your food. You get off the bed and walk over to the door and drop off the tray. To let the others know, you knock on the door. You head back to bed and lay down. You then find yourself slowly drifting to sleep.
