Miski' s pov

"Hey, yuie" I turned to my friend. "Yeah? What's up miski?" I placed my hand on my chin. "The ghouls in Tokyo. Do you ever stop to think what their lives were when they were human?" I asked.

Looking out the window, it had started raining, and I was busy thinking again. "Well, I don't really know. I tend to stay away from all the ghoulish people out in our ward" yuie laughed. I sighed.

"Touka. The girl that's in the grade above us. Do you think she knows?" I asked looking out the window still. "Hm. She kinda scares me. She always has that constant glare. Like she wants to murder every person that tries to even speak to her, or even around her." Yuie just sighed.

"why did you all of a sudden start to care about those foolish creatures anyway Mimi" I looked at her. "They just seem. Like they have been left out. I mean some of them are good. But the CCG can't see past that huh."

I reached into my bag pulling out some pocky "but that's my opinion" I say while sticking a stick of pocky in my mouth. " wow. Miski, you and your wild thoughts" yuie smiled and giggled. I smiled slightly as the bell rang, signaling that school was over.

"Hey. You there. Can I speak with you?" I looked to where the voice had come from and realized the person was, Touka. "Oh, sure.." I finished packing up my supplies and notebooks and followed her out the room.

We walked a short ways down the hallway corridor, then Touka spoke. "So.. Your friend yuie, does she always act like that about ghouls?" She said in a relatively montone voice. I looked up at the sky and chuckled a bit.

"no, well. Not that I know of, she's never really talked like like that of ghouls... I guess when she figured out about her parents being slaughtered by one S rated ghoul, she just... kinda broke and decided that if she ever came face to face with one, or the one who murdered her parents she would kill it on the spot." I sigh and smile.

"Why do you think differently in ghouls. Miski?" I look at her and smile. "Because. Some of them just want to belong, and love alongside with us humans. Some actually save us humans, others use us as a meal or snack, but it's not like ghouls can help it. They need are flesh for their benefit." I say sighing.

"Oh. Wow. I never thought you out of all people would feel like that" Touka smiles and laughs slightly. Wait, Touka Kirishima is laughing? "A lot of people never really think the same as you miski. Stay that way" Touka smiles and pats my shoulder.

"I gotta run. But I'll see you tomorrow Miski, have a safe trip home bye!" I wave at her as she runs off. "Oh boy. Now onward to my home.." I sigh and start to walk towards my home. In the 20th ward. Little did I know, I was going to be in for a big surprise.
