Touka's POV
it's been 2 months since kaneki disappeared. Anteiku has closed down since the last reaming week in the 20th ward. "hey touka. Can you help me with these cups?" I looked back to the bar and smiled small at little hinami."yeah no problem. hinami" I walked back to the bar and started to wash and dry the cup and place them on the hooks. "hey! nishiki, can you help me out with my tie?"miski came down stairs."no way miski, I cant even tie my own" I laughed a bit and placed the cup I was cleaning and walked towards miski. "here let me get it," I smiled as I tied it around her neck and tied it. "done" miski smiled and thanked me and walk off to clean the tables.
~a few hours pass~
Everyone was doing routine chores there around anteiku. Cleaning the windows, sweeping, etc. everyone had finally finished and settled down. "hey mimi want to go watch a movie?" I pointed upstairs and smiled "sure!" Can hinami join?"I nod and she smiles. Everything was going perfect. We were walking upstairs until we all herd a loud crash followed by glass hit the floor. "what the hell?" we all rushed down to see four guys. "my what a cute little place you all have here" my eyes turned, along with miski following right behind me."who the hell are you" I froze as I saw my little brother emerge from behind one of the men. "nice to see you. Big sis. I see your wing is still clipped from when you lost against me."I felt fear rise in my body."whats wrong my dear sister? Scared?" he stepped closer and smiled evilly at me. hinami behind nishiki and miski by my side.
miski's pov
I watched touka freeze in fear of her little brother. 'toukas going to get hurt if I don't step in, i gotta do something!' my kagune peeked out as I stood beside touka. "leave her alone." her brother laughed at me "you honestly think I should be terrified no no.. feel threatened by you?!"he laughed."miski... don't try to face up to him, he'll destroy you anyway he can please just back down now."I tsked and rolled my eyes."youve seen me fight before touka. besides he doesnt scare me one bit."he stopped laughing and looked at me."touka have you not even spoke about your little brother to your friend?"touka gulped as he walked cloer to her."I know who you are. ive herd to many things about you from touka. ayato kirishima."he stood still."my.. no wonder hes after you. you have so much spunk it makes me WANT to fight you."my kagune finally stretching out of my body and hovering over my head as my eyes turned to there ghoulish state."bring it on asshole."ayato laughed as his kagune appeared. 'wings... I studied my enemy as I got in position. "miski dont do this please..." touka grabbed my arm causing me to lose focus "touka let-" before I could finish my sentence and touka could protest we were knocked back hard against the bar causing the cups and plates to fall around us, some piece cutting are faces. "let this be a lesson for you and your friend. dont mess with the higher ups."and with that the men left."let this message from the aogiri tree be remembered you two. or there will be punishments.
no ones pov
The girls got cleaned up thanks to hinami and nishiki "damn... he did a number on throwing you two back."touka winched a little in pain, along with miski."damn... I was ready to fight to. The damn asshole just up and left."nishiki sighed."hey miski. whatever happened to the vow you kept with kaneki?"touka asked miski the question in a rough toned voice. 'what ever did happen to the vow?' miski stood up thanking hinami and nishiki for doctoring up her wounds. "to be honest touka I haven't forgotten the promise. This next month I plan to fight off the enemies penetrating the 20th ward. That means that asshole... ken kaneki. If I see his face, I think I wont be able to stop myself from murdering him. " and with that miski walked out of the coffee house with her fists clenched and anger filled eyes. A few tears slipping as she remembered the vow the two made 2 and a half months ago.
'I'd have no absolute choice... But to take revenge on your leave. And that is a vow. Kaneki if you ever decide to walk out on any of us at the shop. I promise you, I will never forgive you.'
Her eyes burned more as tears spilled out of her eyes. Memories of the day she met hide, the time she saw kaneki finally loosen up. She remembered it all. The way her voice sounded, the way the laughter filled the air around the 3 of them. His voice.
'I vow that next time I see you then, I'll let you have your revenge.'
It was then that miski finally knew. She knew that kaneki would be strong. Stronger then ever. So miski told her self that night that until the day of taking down kaneki finally came she would work harder then she ever has, pushing herself till she would fall to her knees and not be able to walk or stand. She would train and learn to control and wield her kagune better then kaneki ever could. If she was going to go up against a S rated ghoul, she had to think like one. And that meant she would have to go above her limits. This is it. This next month shall be the one month she has to become stronger then ken kaneki. miski shall become an S rated ghoul.
