Kyuri P.O.V~
My sister and I walked into the town's grave yard as I carried a bouquet of white lilies. We passed all the tombstones that signifies the death of every being here.
We stopped and stood before a certain grave. Kiyomi gently took the flowers from me and put them down in front of the tombstone. I stared at it as it read:
Akina Cross....Lover, Friend, Mother........you'll never be forgotten
"Hi mom, It's been a while." I heard Kiyomi say as she bent down, practically crouching. I've done the same as we both now stare at our mother's grave.
It has been too long since we came here.....It almost as if I forgotten.....But I haven't forgotten......I'll never forget........
~*~*~(Flashback)
Kiyuri (P.O.V) age 11
I walk on the dusty path as I was coming back from school. The air gets colder and colder by the day. I looked up and find no sky nor sun...just clouds.
I then saw some leaves blew within the cold breeze. And I've notice they're brown, orange and red. Fall was ending and it's coming close to winter. I decided to get home quicker and so I ran.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
I made it home and opened the door. I found the house empty as I walked in. I removed my backpack, jacket and shoes and put them all at the side of the door.
From across the hall, I saw the back door opened. In came little Kiyomi and soon did my mother, carrying some of her favorite flowers......white lilies.
"Mommy! big sister's home!" Kiyomi exclaims. She ran towards me and I accepted her with opened arms. She tackles me with a hug and I hugged her back.
"Welcome home, sweetheart." Mom greeted as she came towards us. Kiyomi pulled away and smiled cutely.
"Yes! Welcome home!" She squeaks and I giggled as I pat her head.
"Thanks,"I stated, "It's good to be home." Mom smiled as she went into the living room as we followed.
She then put the flowers into a vase that already had water. Mom then turn to us and smiled.
"Now, who wish to sing a song?" She asked. My face lightens as Kiyomi jumps up and down.
"oohh! I wanna! I wanna!" She exclaims excitedly and I nodded.
We follow mother over to the piano thats displayed facing the window. Mother sat on the seat and I sat along side her as Kiyomi crawled on mom's lap.
I opened the piano, revealing the freshly clean keyboard. I pressed onto the keys lightly, making a light sound of the note.
"What song shall we sing?" Mom asked. I thought about it for a moment, but then Kiyomi beat me to it.
"How about that song you like?" She stated, "You know, the one you sing while being in the garden?" The song she mentioned came clear to me.
"You mean Yoru Tsuki?" I asked and mother nodded.
"I always love that song," She said softly, "That sounds like a fine song to sing." I nodded and began playing the song and on que, Mother began to sing.
(I honestly love this song, mostly in Romaji, but for most of the readers who may not understand, i'll put the lyrics in english. And Yoru Tsuki means "Night Moon" (or "The Night of the Moon"))
