"Ranran….Ranran…wake up." Startled to say the least. Reiji’s voice rang through his head, through his sleep along with vigorous shaking. His eyes shot wide open immediately thinking something was wrong. Sitting up quickly in response he looked over, his eyes out of still but he attempted to be alert.”..What? What’s wrong?” Rubbing at his eyes he glanced out the windows and noticed it was still pitch dark before grabbing his phone to look at the time. Four thirty in the morning. Four thirty..in the morning. A Saturday at that."Hmm? nothing is wrong. Wake up sleepy head. Just for a little while and then you can go back to sleep ok? You might even get some coffee out of it if you do."  A kiss was placed on his head before Reiji skipped away leaving him there cursing under his breath and strongly debating rolling over and going back to sleep. Curious though. Reiji had never woken him up this early when they didn’t have to work. Letting his eyes shut again regardless, it didn't last long before he felt a small weight land on his stomach and he reopened his eyes to a cat standing on him. Reaching up he scratched the cat's head before hearing a chuckle as he looked over to see Reiji standing in the doorway watching only to realize he probably set the cat in there on purpose. Slightly more annoyed now, "You do realize what time it is don’t you? This better be fucking important.. gah…I’m coming. gimme a minute." A bit more cursing this time a little louder so the other could hear as apparently the brunet planned to stand there and wait for him this time. He relentlessly rolled out of the bed flinging the sheets off him and searched around for a pair of pants before the cheery voice ring through his ears again. "Hurry up Ranran, quit being a slow poke..we’re gonna miss it." Grabbing some pants laying on the ground from last night he slipped them on trying to figure out what the hell Reiji was going on about. Literally being dragged out and into the kitchen he was handed his coffee cup. It was warm and felt nice in his hands and the smell of the coffee made it’s way into his nose. Taking a sip, he looked up to say something only to notice Reiji had disappeared. A sigh left his lips, it was was to early for this. Glancing around he noticed the door to the balcony open and deduced that that’s where Reiji was. A push at his ankles he looked down at one of their cats curling his way around his legs. "You don’t know why we’re up this early? Neither do I?" Bending down he scratched at her chin before straightening back up and heading out the door  He was indeed right. There stood Reiji on the balcony with a grin on his face holding a blanket. Placing his cup on the table he sat down in one of the chairs rubbing his hands over his face with low dissatisfied grumbles seeping through. "Please do explain to me what this is all about? So that I can go back to bed." Reiji happily plopped into his lap throwing the blanket out so it fell over them and grabbed his own cup. "Ne..I always wanted to watch the sunrise with someone. It’s really romantic. I figured it’d be a nice surprise. Don’t’ca agree?"  No words..he had no words. He knew Reiji was into being romantic and sometimes watched too many movies. The sunrise..what was so special about that? He’d seen it plenty of times and it was not his favorite sight. Annoyed now to say the least he hastily went to stand up almost knocking Reiji onto the ground and sending some of his coffee out of his cup. "Really? You woke me up for this? I've told you before to not wake me up on days I don’t have to work. There is this thing called sleep and I sort of like it." Turning to head back inside his arm was grabbed and pulled back. "Ranran no…pllleeaseeee. Sit out here with me and watch." Reiji put on his best pout which had been proven now to be the best way to get him to give in and Reiji also knew this. As soon as he’d caught sight of it, a few more tugs of resisting were given before he finally gave in. "FINE…fine fine fine. Just stop already." Grumbling under his breath he picked up his coffee and sat back down with a long sigh. "Only because this is a really good cup of coffee and I don’t wanna waste it…" A content smile made it’s way back over Reiji’s face as he resumed their position picking the blanket back off the ground and back over them. Turning around he gave a big squeeze to his neck and a kiss on his cheek and practically sung out now."Uwah..thank you Ranran!! I love you, you’re the best." A slight blush graced his cheeks and he rested his chin in his hands. Reiji was wiggling around like an excited puppy now as they sat there waiting. Each time he went to take another sip of his coffee another wiggle. "Jesus Christ if you want me to stay at least stay still…and be quiet there are people sleeping..like they should be." A sulking huff could be heard coming from the brunet but at least the cup was able to reach his mouth without any worries of his teeth or lips being hit by it or it being spilled. Setting it down on the table he decided he might as well get comfortable while he was out there. Wrapping his arms around Reiji’s waist he nuzzled his face into the side of his neck. Closing his eyes he yawned before lifting his head a little now resting his chin on the others' shoulder. Looking out there was now a hint of orange in the sky and Reiji’s head now rested against his own. Maybe it was the coffee finally making it’s way through him but this was actually kind of nice. Not that he’d ever actually say it. Some how he never looked at things like this enjoyable unlike his partner but seeing Reiji all excited about it was cute on it’s own. Out of the corner of his eye he could see Reiji’s face lit up as it stared out at the sky. A sigh mixed with a soft laugh escaped his lips. "You’re cute when you wanna be you know? How you can be so in awe at something that happens every damn day is sometime..hell, I’ll probably never understand it but I like it." Releasing his hold around the others' waist he leaned back in the chair to grab his cup and get more coffee. Again, something he wouldn't ever admit but it was things like this that when he was actually convinced and persuasion sometimes that he actually enjoyed having a different mind set than Reiji. It always opened his eyes to things he’d never notice or find enjoyable on his own.
