"Am I a monster Mommy?" The young girl asked innocently, head cocked to the side in curiosity
"A monster? Where on Earth did you get that from, Yasashī?" Her mother's soft blue eyes roamed over her child in concern.
"The kids at school said I was. They said I was different and I didn't belong here." Yasashī spoke blankly, as if the sting of the words didn't reach her at all. Her mother frowned slightly, cupping her daughters cheek in her hand.
"Don't listen to them sweetheart, you're different....that's true, but you're beautiful different." Her mother smiled sincerly.

Yasashī woke with a start, her Bikaku wrapped around her leg like the many times before. She sighed before swinging her legs over the side of the rickety bed. Willing her Bikaku to resort back to it's 'hiding place', she stood. Her arms found their way to her back in a stretch, her arms falling back to her sides as the satisfying pop of her back filled her ears. While stifling a yawn, she opened her wardrobe, looking amongst the pile of hangers with nothing on them. She slowly took out a black tee, black shorts, black and red striped tights and a red zip-up hoodie. She slipped off her plaited pyjamas and changed into the outfit she had picked out. Nodding at herself, she slipped on her black army boots, a gift from her late father. He eyes wandered over to her alarm clock:
7:24
Bit early, considering it was a Saturday.  She proceeded to walk to the kitchen, her aching stomach urging her to walk faster. She opened one of many cabinets, grabbing a box of coffee sashays. She then swung open the fridge door, grabbing the milk then setting it next to the sashay she had picked out and cup. Her hands clasped around the metal pole on the drawer, sliding it open to reveal silver cutlery. She took out a medium-sized spoon then placed it next to the cup. She robotically made her coffee, the routine, had been implanted into her DNA since she was first conceived. Well, that's what she liked to think.
After finishing her coffee, her back pocket began to vibrate. Or more rather her phone began to vibrate. Sighing, Yasashī pressed the accept button, not bothering to see who it was.
"Yasashī here." She spoke nonchalantly.
"Hey! Whatcha up to?" The oh-so-familiar voice of her best friend and partner in crime, Tenshi No Shi, rang throughout her ears. A smile smile graced her face as she replied.
"Nothing much, you?"
"Just finishing up my art project."
"Ah."
"So, Yasa'. You still up for 'dinner'?." Yasashī sighed sadly, she had always hated going for 'dinner', but nonetheless she would die if she didn't.
"Yeah." She spoke with a sad tone, Tenshi, having known Yasa' since kindergarten, picked up on this.
"I know you don't like doing this but we have to....If you want I could go kill some now so you don't have to?" Ah, Tenshi always looking out for her. But she had to get over it, so she refused.
"No, I'm fine. I've been doing it for 20 years now. What's one more day, huh?"

AND THAT'S A WRAP! So whatddya think? Hope you enjoyed~ Kota
