The house was fully decorated with a help from everyone, and we were all ready to party. The only person who hadn't arrived yet, was the birthday girl, Lou.
Over thirty persons attended and I only knew half of them. Though, I was a little worried about Caitlin and how is she gonna manage all of this.
The house was packed.
Niall called Lou hours ago and asked her to come over because he really needed to talk to her about something, and she bought it.
Once Lou was nearly here, we remained silent. The bell rang, Niall opened the door and that when we shouted "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!", causing her to burst out in tears.
"Th-This is s-so nice of yo-you guys." She cried and I was the first to hug her.

Everyone was having fun, but my eyes were watching Caitlin and how she was handling everything. I wasn't glued to her the whole time, I wanted to give her some space and have fun with the girls.
"You should go and ask her to dance with you" Niall said. "I will play a good song, just go." I nodded and Niall disappeared.
"Sorry to cut your conversation off ladies, but I need to steal Cait if you don't mind." I saw a smile on her face. "What if I mind?"
"You don't get a say in this." I shushed her and grabbed her hand.
I think Niall watching us because once Caitlin was with me, the song started to play. "I love this song!" Caitlin smiled. I was a little relieved. "May I have this dance?"
"You may, but I have to tell you I don't dance a lot, so bare with me."
My hands were already on her waist, and once she felt them, she wrapped her arms around my neck we began to sway to the song. I wasn't sure if I should anything or just stay silent, but she cut my thoughts by saying, "I really appreciate your invite, Harry. I honestly had a wonderful time with all of your guys." And then she continued, "I never had friends like you guys, you make me feel like I'm one of you, not just someone you recently knew."
My heart ached a little bit by her words. "We are really really happy to have you with us, Cait. It's like we know you for several years and not just few weeks. You're truly a great person."
I wanted nothing but to kiss her and tell her how I really feel about her, but I preferred to wait more until she feel more comfortable around me.
"I'm really thankful for having you in my life, Harold." She kissed my cheek and the song was over.
My heart melted.
