There came a cool breeze hovering the land, soothing everything in its way. Dark clouds galloping the Moon's place in the sky, darkness and fear being emitted into the atmosphere.
A blue beam glowed dimly in the background and the castle glistened in that light. The castle resembled a stronghold for an immense power, a power that shouldn't be provoked. Nevertheless was it scary enough to send shivers down one's spine.
A image was moving in the main entrance to the castle. It seemed like a boy at its attire and physique. He wore a hoodied cloak whose tip kissed the coarse surface of the pavement as he walked forth. The darkness in the atmosphere helped him to camouflage in to the surroundings, but the dim soothing light rays of the moon which was in the veil of dark clouds didn't let him to camouflage completely. The boy strode forth on the pavement of the castle, until he found something obstructing his way. It was the gate of the castle. It's bars had pointed ends at the top, it was of two segments the one to the right and the one to the left both joined in the centre. The gate was of pure iron with it's iron bars polished with pure black color.
Forasmuch, no one will dare to go hind of the gate, as it is so scary and can send shivers down one's spine.
The boy stared the gate for a minute or so and shoved it in the center. The gate parted in the middle and the two went back in either directions with a crackling sound. Lo, the castle appeared manifesting all of its glory. The boy just glanced at it and began to walk in his path.
The boy infront of the castle's door saw a fountain. A fountain with a perfectly sculpted raven of white granites. Its wings stretched open, its beak and neck facing the sky and from its beak the liquid flowed down constantly. The fountain was so elegant and enchanting that it could have one's inclination at it in a matter of seconds.
But something was a bit rather odd with this fountain. The liquid flowing out was no water, but it was a red colored thick liquid, the source of life commonly termed as blood.
The boy jumped back tremulously as soon as he discovered that, the liquid as blood. His heartbeat fastened at the sight.
The boy took a step sideways and began to walk towards the castle's door. He walked quietly nevertheless to attract any attention. He wanted not anything to have a glimpse of his presence. He moved like a panther carefully minding his steps.
But he knew not, that there is a welcome party awaited for him. A flock of ravens flying in the sky. Not only were they in the air but also on the pavement. The boy felt a bit odd at this. He shivered suddenly at the soothing kiss of the cool breeze.
After a walk for a minute or so, he atlast found himself at the entrance door of the castle. The door stood high, with it's surface polished golden tint. A carving of raven was upon it, the same which was at the fountain.
The boy glanced at the castle's entrance door, which stood infront of him. He then pushed the door, which opened with a creaky sound.
Darkness, darkness nothing more than that was visible. Gotta admit, this boy is brave. The boy walked forth into the darkness, he groped, forasmuch his retinas struggled to adjust. His eyes desperately trying to regain the vision. He walked in groping the way. Thereto he entered a hall with windows on either sides. Silver beam sneaking in from the windows helped the boy in regaining his vision.
He rubbed his eyes once and gazed at the hall, he was in. An unlit chandelier hanged down the ceiling. The roof had some designs carved on it. The two huge glass windows on either sides, led the moon light in. The boy stood in the center of the hall, glancing at everything near him.
He stood on a grey carpet.
Opposite to him stood a red curtain or rather two curtains, joining at center top and parting slightly aside at centre below. On the curtains were embellished three figures. Two ravens of complete black color with their wings stretched and a thin hoodied skeleton weilding a scythe. There were stairs on either sides of the curtains. The boy stood in the middle, confused of which staircase should he take?
After a minute or so the boy began to walk towards the staircase on his right. He began to mount the stairs. The stairs were brownish in color with a slight tint of yellow color. Ofcourse that color was formed due to the lack of light.
The stairs began to end revealing a floor of multiple rooms on either sides. The boy slowly stepped on the floor, fear and deafening silence galloped the floor.
The boy gazed at the doors. They were made of wood, a bit old, with cobwebs veiling the door. The boy started to pull the cobwebs of a door. After the cobwebs were removed, the boy turned the knob of the room hoping it will open. But it was futile. Therewith making the boy furious. The boy took a step back and with his stout left arm and shoulder he charged vigorously at the door. Nevertheless was the boy a superhero, that the door should crack at his first dash. The boy charged again and the door opened with a thud.
The room seemed to be an old one. Cobwebs stood everywhere making it difficult for one to pass through. Broken vessels and carcked earthen pots stood everywhere. There were creepy insects - centipedes everywhere.
The boy took a step forth to examine a vessel with cracks on it. The boy slowly moved the lid to open it. Lo, a serpent charged at him with it's fangs protruding out, it's mouth opened at the fullest. The boy jumped back suddenly. And the snake missed his forehead in a fractional distance.
The snake crept back into it's vessel. The boy stood up trembled and frightened. He rubbed the dust which resided upon his cloak. Soon, the boy began to hear the sound of insects and snakes which began to creep towards him. He ran out and slammed the door behind him.
He decided not to enter any room on the either sides, and at the end of the room a door stood, opposite to the boy. That door was clean and it was seperate from these creepy doors.
The boy strolled towards the door, turned the knob slowly and the door opened revealing an open place surrounded by walls. The boy slowly lifted his head and saw the moon which was sending soothing rays to the ground. The boy walked towards the walls and found himself at the top of the castle. "This is terrace" the boy mumbled under his breath.
The boy found one more door beside the door he entered. The boy strode towards the door, turning it's knob he opened it. He found stairs. He descended those stairs and entered another hall. This was similar to the first one but there was no chandlier here. The boy walked slowly and silently. His hands and legs began to tremble at the dead silence and fear. He walked through a passage way which was opposite to him.
He walked straight and lo, he alted his footsteps at a room. The room had an imperial and majestic look. Two chandeliers hanging down the ceiling, emitted light into the room. There were three huge glass windows. One was opposite to the boy and the other two were on the walls opposite to each other.
There was a throne, with it's magnificent gold work. It was shining and boasting of it's glory. There was a red carpet laid from the door till the throne. Upon the throne sat the princess. The only PRINCESS OF DEATH.
Her face covered with a hood. Her black gown kissed the carpet. The boy shivered as he saw the princess. The princess slowly tilted her head up, a mischievous smile can be seen on her face. In a sweet yet dangerous tone she asked "what is your name?" Paused for a second and an evil smile spread through her face "MY CHOOSEN?"
