Julie's POV

"This is your last time waking up in 2016!!" I heard Nathan yelling

I groaned as I got up and go to the kitchen

I see Nathan shirtless making waffles

A fan girl would scream, but to me, it's a normal day

"Last Waffles of 2016." He said passing me waffles

"You are not those people who are like, last time doing this in 2016." I said

"I have become one." He said

"Last time I will say that at 11:37 am in 2017." He said

I rolled my eyes

We are going to his friends house for New Years because we haven't hang out with them in a long time

A week later, rumors around the Cube saying Sean and Lily Beth are dating

But who knows and who cares?

Do we talk? Nope, he is ignoring me, I try contacting him, but nothing works

Nothing else happen, Today is New Years Eve and I'm ready for this year to be over

"Party starts at 8:30." He said

"Kk." I said as I finish my waffles

"We got time." He said

"For?"

"Our last time shopping, we have to get chips for the party." He said

"Ugh." I said as I stand up

I put on a Nerdgirl Merch sweater with sweatpants and headed toward the car

"So ready to get this year to be over." I said starting the engine

"Why?" He asked

"I dated Sean twice, he broke me twice, ready to start new." I said

"No more going back." He said

"Yep, I'm trying to be friends with him, but no, he is ignoring." I said

"You have me."

"Thanks Nathan, we both helped each other this year." I said

"Now we can start new." He said

I turned up the radio and we were jamming out to the radio

We go to the store and get some chips and drinks

Once we left and I left, I went straight to my room and took a nap
