Do you remember Romeo, and his love for Juliet.
How his heart placed itself in the palm of her hand.
How his heart jumped when she smiled.
How his heart beat faster when she walked by.
How his mood brighened everytime he saw her.
How his heart stoped when Juliet was rumored dead.
How his love for her was his cause to live.
Do you remember how his love for Juliet also was his death.
We remember this, but we seem to forget that his death, his end, was not the end.
Now,
Do you remember Juliet, and her love for Romeo.
How she held his heart so carefully in the palm of her hand.
How she protected his heart with all she had.
How she could not imagine a world without him.
How she fought for him.
How she won the war, but lost him.
How her fight for him was the reason he died.
Do you remember how willingly she died with his death on her side.
We remember this, but seem to forget that her death, her end, was not the end.
Their death was not their end.
For the end is never really the end.
