Nico was in his room, getting ready for a sunny day. He had ate breakfast silently, after seeing his mom looks at his sister and himself like that. He was afraid of what they were truly doing, so he decided not to bring it up. Even if he didn't, he couldn't say the nagging feeling wasn't their.

As he put on his swim trunks and a t-shirt, he heard his sister stomping down the stairs. "We don't have all day, Nico!" She complained as she passed his door. Nico rolled his eyes.

"I'm coming!" He replied. He was all ready, so he gabbed a towel and was on his way out.

He, being clumsy, slipped on a step and fell down a could of steps. Then he got back up, rubbing his back, and went down the stairs, more slowly.

When he got to the bottom, he found the Bianca and his mom was waiting for him and his dad. His dad was still getting ready, which only half surprised Nico. Being the king meant you had to do many things before you were ready to leave.

"I suspect you turned your lights off, Nico?" Nico nodded, in reply to his mothers question. Right as mother was about to ask Bianca the same question, their dad came in, with his crown and swim trunks on. He had a tank-top on as well. He brought out shades and put them on.

My mother shook her head and laughed, and my dad grinned. "Pluto's gonna rock it." (No pun intended!) Nico and Bianca pretended to throw up.

"Alright, let's get going." Nico's mom exclaimed. "remember, we are royal." She said seriously.

We are... Nico thought. His family was so different from other royal families. They show how much fun they are having, and they act like normal village people, going out and having fun.

They left the majestic castle and rode on horses to the lake. Nico looked at everybody, while Bianca waved. Their mom and dad focused on getting there without trouble. Once they got out of the clustered villages, the horses started to gallop. Nico clung to the horse, thankful for the ropes. Bianca seemed to be doing the same. Only their parents didn't hold onto the ropes, but the saddle. Nico gasped as he started to slide back. "Aggh!"

As he was slipping off, Bianca had slowed down to help him. She obviously didn't know how, because she just kept saying it was going to be okay, and your almost up right. He wasn't, no matter how hard she tried. With the saddle only on because he was sitting on it, he slowly fell. They were close by now, but a bit too far away at the same time. He was predicting he'd fall off before then. Sadly, the horse wasn't loosing speed, it actually looked like he was gaining it.

Suddenly, with his white knuckles, he slipped off, hitting the ground hard. He shouted a he fell, and then heard a sickening crunch. He found out it was just ice he landed on, and it was Bianca who called out to their parents and saved his back. She leaned over him and made sure he was alright. Everything got clearer as Bianca helped him up. And he could feel his parents holding him, hugging him.

"We're so sorry we didn't know!" His mom exclaimed. "We should have been more smarter. You had the smaller horse. You needed the smaller saddle." His dad looked down wearily. Then Bianca helped him up, and he thanked her. They were only a few ten feet away from where they were going to stop, so they walked with their horses to the spots.

Nico's back throbbed lowly, but it was irritating. Maybe he can forget about it out in the water...

Ohhhh I'm done with it!! Tell me how I did :P I wanted to update this soon, so I didn't leave you with only one chapter. Do you like it so far? Am I cray-cray? Lol, thanks for reading! Poor Nico got a boo-boo!
