Nico found it hard to walk. With excitement bubbling inside of him, he found a way. Bianca smiled at him from time to time, because of how silly he was.
It was a hot day, but surprisingly nobody came to the beach. They were alone! Nico made sure it was okay with his parents, then ran off into the lake. The water was refreshingly cool. Bianca seemed to agree as she sighed when jumping into the water. Suddenly, a burst of the water hit his cheek, colder than the rest. She must be using her powers!
"Hey!" Nico protested. He splashed her back, harder than she to him, and she started to spray him with water. Only when he started to shiver did he go under water. The silence was awkward, and he could tell that it wasn't supposed to be that way. A thin layer of ice covered the top of the water above Nico, and Nico gasped. Bianca!!
He broke through the ice and noticed she wasn't anywhere to be seen. He swam to the shore and suddenly slipped on ice. Then, something cold hit his head, and he couldn't blacked out. He was cold. Very cold.
