No sound could be heard within the darkness of night. The only movement to be seen was from the falling leaves outside. Dark shadows stretched across Sasha's bedroom floor. Moonlight bathed over the girl, siting hunched over on the floor, through the open curtain of her window. the tree's long shadows cased down upon her, holding her while her heart broke again with tremble of silent sobs.
She was sick of being alone. sick of the pain in her chest. she had gone so long learning how to not need anyone. She was only dependent upon herself and yet no mater how much she told herself she didn't need anyone, she still hurt inside. Year after year all her friends would find people to love them while she could only watch them kiss from the side lines never knowing what it was like to be in there place. she had always craved to have what they had. love, affection, mutual trust, purpose, a place to belong in the arms of another. To be seen.
To be noticed by someone, who's eyes only searched for one others. Sasha waited for that spark: the spark seen in the gateway to another's soul, when their eyes dilate and dance with light of powerful meaning, The sign two souls give each other when they finally find there long lost mate.
Sasha sniffled and wiped a tear away with her sleeve. She was a very creative and gifted girl but no matter how hard she tried no one ever saw her work. she would post it online: story upon story, drawing upon drawing, photo upon photo of her other works, and yet no one would notice it, no one interacted with her on social media. She just wanted some form of company or affection. To have some kind person to talk to would be nice, just anything to make her feel needed or worth noticing. To feel wanted. to feel like her time spent on it wasn't for nothing.
Sasha's delicate hands covered her mouth, covering up her silent sobs as the loneliness closed in. Dark wavy hair pooled off from her solders from her body trembling and shaking. Her long silky hair was soft and acted like a waterfall as it fell.
'I wish someone would love me....' Sasha thought to herself.
Slightly siting up now she opened her gray ice blue eyes and watched her silent tears fall to the floor splashing and shimmering from the silver light streaming in though the window behind her. she turned her head to look out the window and up to the moon hanging in the sky.
she felt comforted by its presents. the moon had always been there on her worst nights, her loneliest times. She breathed in deeply calming her self down.
Sasha got up to her feet only wobbling slightly. then she turned to her closet and grabbed her denim based jacket with light gray cotton sleeves. she hadn't bothered putting on sleeping attire. she had known she wouldn't sleep tonight. Now slipping her arms through the sleeves and putting on her favorite hat, she opened her window beginning to jumping out onto the soft earth and grass covered by a few dead leaves.
Once on the ground Sasha looked around caustically. Seeing no one around, or any form of life for that mater, carefully walked across her yard. Any neighbors dog bark would get her caught. So being extra careful not to step on noisy fallen leaves, she made it across the yard to and out the back fence gate.

Sasha walked through the woods towards the mountains near her neighborhood having done this a thousandths times both night and day she knew the pathway by heart. It would only take a few hours to get to her hidden away safe haven.
By the time she was far enough in the woods the pale golden lights of dawn were streaming across the sky above. The trees and ground were dark being in the casted shadow of the mountain in front of her.
Sasha sat down in the deadpale yellow leaves; hearing them crunch beneath her gave her a slight spark of comfort. She let the small hint of a smile tug at the corner of her lips. Her finger less gloves aloud her to feel the earths soft dirt below the rough dry texture of the leaves on top. She picked up a stick and some twigs and begun weaving them through each other.
Breathing deeply she could still feel the aura of emotion that hung around her along with the tear tracks that by now had long dried. strangely enough she could still feel their ghostly trails across her pale cheeks. The air had the comforting sent of fallen leaves, morning dew, and earth. Her finger nails were short allowing her finger tips to brush across the smooth surface of bendy twigs.
final finished she looked at her work.
she had made a heart of twigs. she held it in her hands then pressed it to her chest where she felt the most pain and emptiness; it felt as if there was a hole in her chest that had been punched out. pressing the palm sized heart to her skin seemed to help a bit though. It seemed to fill the void even just a little bit. Closing her eyes she slowly let her head dipped down slightly. Her spirit felt so light, though her eyes felt heavy. Her clear silvery blue eyes looked once more to the sky and then leaned back into the leaves making some fly up and then fall back down around her in perfect graceful movements, they all settled and laid on the earth peacefully.
Sasha turned onto her side and let herself slip into the dark comforting arms of sleep with only the sounds of the forest around her. Sasha's hands loosely laid close to her face like a small child as her legs tucked up slightly and hair draped across the forest floor.
she looked peaceful.
