Chapter 17~ Meeting the Mom

Hope's POV:

I was in the waiting room listening to music. As I was scrolling through Instagram I heard a women yell "ADONDE ESTA MI HIJO" (Where's my son). She kept yelling and yelling and people started to look at her like she was crazy. The doctors came with security to kick her out. I quickly got up and said to the security...

Hope: So sorry sir, my mother is just asking where her son is...

Security: All right ma'am, at least she is with you...tell her not scream because she is disturbing the patients.

Hope: Yes sir

The lady looked at me with horror in eyes. I quickly gave a smile to comfort her and I lead her to the chairs in the sitting room. I asked her who was she looking for but she kept saying "my son". I wanted to help so bad to find her son but I just didn't know who it was. As I kept asking her questions, Andrew's doctor came. He called out "Any family of Aiden Andrew Matthews!". I quickly got up and walked towards the doctor and so did the lady. The lady quickly said "Take me to him! He is my son!". I was shocked and also happy that his mother came all the way from Mexico.

As the doctor began taking us to Aiden's room, I gave Mrs. Matthews on what happened to Aiden. When we walked into the room, Mrs.Matthews started tearing up. I just stood back to let her be alone with her son. As I stood there watching them, Mrs.Matthews signaled me to come to her. She thanked me for being with him when she wasn't the there. Aiden's mom was so nice to me.

Mrs.Matthew: Thank you! Thank you so much for being here with my hijo! (son)

Hope: It's no problem...

Mrs. Matthews: He is certainly lucky to have a novia like you! (girlfriend)

Hope: Uhh...excuse me but what's a novia?

Mrs: Matthews: *chuckles* Novia means girlfriend, silly!

Hope: *mouth opened wide*

Mrs.Matthews: Oh no! Are you not his novia?

Hope: Uh..hehe...n-no...

Mrs.Matthews: Then how do you know him?!

Hope: We are close friends *blushing*

Mrs.Matthews: I see....so you like him?!

Hope: *blushes harder* N-no

Mrs.Matthews: Hmm...Ok te cero

From there on we both just continued talking about normal stuff. She started to teach me how to speak spanish. She kept telling me how cute Aiden was when he was a baby. She even showed me pictures of his little butt. I started laughing. In the inside, I knew Aiden could hear us and I could imagine him saying "Mama! Stop that!". After she showed his baby butt pictures, she showed me a video of him at the age he is right now, sleeping and saying "Hope...I like you a lot". Mrs.Matthews saw me blush and then noticed she ask for my name. After she saw me face turn red...she immediately called me Hope.
