Its been about a month since the last time that me and Shawn had sex. I used to have a lot of energy but now I was completely out of it. Plus, I was feeling sick for a few days including today. I wasn't feeling good today so I had to call in sick. Shawn however took great care of me this morning by making me some toast with orange juice.
"Oh babe, you're the best. Thanks", I said and kissed his forehead.
"Anytime Ali baby. Well, I'm going to head over to work right now. I'll see you later. Love you", he said.
"Love you too Shawn", I said and I watched him leave. A few hours later, I threw up again. That's when I decided to take a pregnancy test. So, I took it and...it came back positive.
"Oh my God. I'm pregnant", I whispered to myself. Can this be true? Am I pregnant? Yes, I'm pregnant with our first child. My eyes widened with excitement.
"Can't wait to tell him. He'll be so happy...hopefully" I said. It was already a nightmare and I was sleeping in bed 'til I heard the door to the garage open and close. It was Shawn.
" baby, I'm home", he said.
"Hey, come up here. I've got something to show you babe", I said. Then I saw him come to the bedroom.
"What is it baby?"
"Look Shawn". I showed him the test and he did his famous scream and hugged me.
"Oh sweetheart. We're going to be parents", he said.
"We are sweetie, we are", I said and hugged each other and kissed each other on the cheek. Then we both got into bed together and he wrapped his arm around me and kissed my forehead.
"I love you momma to be ", he said.
"I love you too daddy to be ", I said and we both went to sleep.
