Chapter 2
I felt someone grabbing my hand and my clothes were wet. Why? I opened my eyes and I saw the sky. Did we land? I turned my head and I saw the ocean. Oh my god I was in water. There was a man I didn't recognize pulling me. What the heck? I pulled my arm away from him and swam. I wasn't far from the shore so I got there in a few seconds. I stood and looked around.
There was parts of the plane all over a beach. I didn't see my aunt anywhere. Did we crash? I fell to the ground and started to scream. Someone would do something if they heard me scream right? I was really scared. I felt someone shake me but I didn't stop screaming.
"Angel!" It sounded like a guy. I stopped screaming and turned around. It was Boone. "Angel it's okay," He said soothingly. He had blood on his face. I sat up and climbed my arms around him. My left arm hurt. "Ow," I whimpered. "It's okay," He stated rubbing my back. "Okay I need to help some people but I promise I'll be right back." I started to cry. I nodded and stood up. He stood up with me and looked at the sky. "Angel watch out!" Boone yelled grabbing my right arm and pulling me to him. We crouched down and I covered my head while he covered his.
I massive bang occurred behind me. I looked behind me and there was a massive piece of titanium, not even two feet away. I looked back at him with tears streaming down my face. I opened my mouth to speak but I couldn't get the words out. "Okay now stay here!" Boone demanded. He ran over to a man who's leg seemed to be broken.
Okay Angel, breathe, breathe. I wiped my tears away and decided to make my self useful. I got up and ran over to the water and helped a woman on the shore. I looked at my left arm and it was bleeding. I tried to lift it up but it hurt too much, it may have been broken.
I couldn't hold the weight of my body up anymore and I fell on the ground. My eyes closed and the world was black.

Day 3
"It's hard to tell without an x-ray but her arm seems to be fractured," I man said. "Are you positive?" I heard Boone ask. "Not 100% but I'm 99% sure," The man said again. I opened my eyes and looked around. Boone and another man were standing there. "Angel," Boone uttered. I sat up and looked at him and the other man. "What happened?" I asked. "Angel, I'm Jack," The other man spoke, "And you fractured your left arm." "How?" I asked. "I can't tell without an x-ray but it must have happened in the crash," Jack explained. "How long was I out?" I questioned. "Three days," Boone told me. I was out for three days? Really? No I couldn't have been. It did not seem like it. But then again why would he lie? I looked at Boone and he was all sweaty and dirty. His gorgeousness is just killing me.
"I have to go and check on Claire," Jack spoke. Boone nodded and stayed with me. He looked at me with sympathy in his eyes. "We crashed on some island near Fiji," explained Boone. I couldn't understand why he was telling me this. I didn't care at this moment. I just wanted to know where my aunt was.
"Where is she? My aunt," I questioned. "I-uh...she...um...Angel, listen, she-um...she died in the crash. She drowned in the water." "You're kidding right?" I frowned. He had to be joking. She didn't drown in the water, she right outside the tent I was in.
Wait I'm in a tent. Focus Angel! No she could not possibly be dead. She's right outside and this is just a prank. "No she couldn't have. She didn't," I stated. I got up and turned around. "What are you doing Angel?" He asked puzzled. "You're kidding, I know it. My aunt is right outside this tent and you guys are just playing a joke! You're lying! I can tell when someone is lying!" I yelled. This can't be true, it can't possibly be true. My aunt could swim, she took swimming lessons when she was younger. "Angel, I'm not lying," He muttered softly.
I turned around and ran out the tent. There were a few tents and people spread across the beach. I turned to the forest and ran. I ran into the forest and didn't stop running. I ran, and ran, and ran, and ran, and ran. I didn't stop running till I got to a small open bit of dirt where tall grass, that was the height of my legs, surrounded the patch of dirt.
I heard whispering. It was as if whoever was whispering was saying my name followed by words I couldn't make out. "Who's there?" I yelled. The whispering continued. I turned in circles looking to see who was whispering. I turned around to see my dead mum about 20 feet away away from me. "Mum?" The whispering stopped.
She put her finger on lips, indicating me to be quiet. She turned around and walked back into the jungle. As I moved my right foot to to chase after her, I heard running foot steps behind me. I frantically turned around to see who was there. No one yet but the bushes and trees were moving.
I rushed over to a tree and hid. I looked behind the tree to see who was there. Boone ran out from behind trees and bushes and vines.
"Angel?!" He called out looking for me. I stood up and walked away from the tree. He was sweating and trying to catch his breath. "Angel," He paused trying to breathe, "What...was...that?" My lips spread apart to speak but no words came out of my mouth. I stopped and thought about why I ran out of the tent. That was a question I didn't know the answer to.
"Why do you care?" At this point, I didn't care if that sounded rude or not. My aunt is dead and I'm in the middle of nowhere on some stupid island.
"Because Angel I really like you and care about you. And I get that we don't really know each other but I want to get to know you and I want to know why you ran off."
He doesn't like me, there's no way. Why would anybody like me? I'm basically goth if you ask anyone else. Nobody ever likes me. He did have a point though, about not knowing me and wanting to get to know me, I wanted to get to know him too. But I don't know the reason I ran off so I couldn't possibly answer that.
"I don't know," I sassed. "Will you come back? It's going to get dark soon," He stated. I thought why I would want to go back. What was better there than here? I didn't want to go back just yet. "No, not yet. I want to go for a walk." I stated. He walked over to me and looked down on me, right in my eyes. "Okay, a bit of a walk and then will you come back with me?" He asked. "Yes." He smiled and I grabbed his hand pulling him behind me. "Angel you have no idea where you are going," Boone stated. It was true, I didn't know where I was going exactly, but I had an idea. I felt like I've seen this jungle before. Though I have never been in a jungle, I just kinda recognized the place, like déjà view.
"Eh," I shrugged. It was kind of like a feeling. I turned around and he had a sheepish grin on his face. I let go of his hand and stopped. I turned around and looked at him right in his beautiful green eyes, that had a twinkle of of blue in them.
"Is it true what you said? That you think I'm pretty," I asked. "Yes I think you are pretty," He replied. "How? I'm so far from pretty. I wear black clothes, black makeup and I never wear my hair down because I hate it down. And I'm so freaking short for my age," I explained. "Because Angel, you are pretty," he paused and bit his lip, "And I think you're hot." Yep, my conspiracies have been proven, he totally digs me.
"Shut up," I giggled as I playfully punched his arm. I turned around and continued walking through the forest. I looked behind to make sure he was following and he was.
