sean, josh, and aria exit the vehicle and walked along the entrance of the bowling alley.
-
the three of them caught up with joya, will, and may lee. it was aria's first time meeting them, so she couldn't help but feel funny and uneasy. "sean." joya approached to sean and gave a hug. she gave josh a hug as well.
neon lighting filled the room here and there, but a bit of darkness was still flooded in.
sean called aria's name along with a small gesture as he walked over to the concession stand. "you okay?" sean asked. "yeah." the brown-haired girl gave a pretty smile.
sean approached the counter and he took awhile choosing what to eat from the menu. "want anything?" sean questioned, while he reached for his wallet in his pocket. "no, it's okay. i'm not hungry." aria rejected his offer as kind as she could. "what about for later?" he gave that convincing look. "i'll be okay, charles." she smiled. "aria." he said in all seriousness wanting to get her something to eat. "sean." she repeated. "you know what. here's three grilled cheese sandwiches on the house." the lady behind the counter annoyingly said. "will that make you two leave?" she stated in a rude tone. sean and aria looked at each other and quickly left with the free sandwiches. "are we that annoying?" aria chuckled. "if you just let me buy you something..." he shrugged.
-
"sean, are you still mad at me?" aria pinched his cheeks. he pouted in all seriousness. "sean." she dragged his name. "silent treatment?" josh walked in the living room and she nodded, then frowned. "man, you're still the best in bowling. you'll beat her next time." the dark skinned boy patted his shoulder trying to cheer him up. he then left to the bathroom. "come on, sean." she pouted in front of him. he continued to avoid eye contact. "i'll just leave, since you're not in the mood." the upset girl sighed and made her way to the door with her belongings. "wait." he quickly gripped on her wrist powerful, but not to the point where it hurt. "i was kidding." he gave a cheesy, convincing smile. "you better be." her hands darted to his sides, attacking him with tickles around his weak spot. they spent five minutes on the couch bursting into laughter and playfully fighting. and just as a pillow fight was about to break out, josh walked in.
"aw, how cute." josh chuckled. sean and aria both looked at each other; shocked. "i was gone for less than five minutes and y'all are best friends again. teach me your ways." he continued.
the three of them spent most of their time watching netflix. josh fell asleep on the reclined chair, while aria and sean were sleeping on two separate couches. josh soon awoke from his sleep. he rubbed his eyes and stretched his arms and legs. his eyes grew wide after he realized the time. "sean!" he called loudly. "we have a class tonight." josh said into his ear making sean get up from the couch. "crap." he muttered under his breath. "what about aria?" sean asked. "i don't know, she can tag along if she wants to." josh shrugged.
sean crawled to the couch aria was sleeping on. "aria?" sean gently shook her shoulder. he repeated this until she woke up.

sean placed his black cap on his head before heading into the building. aria agreed on going with them to class since she had no plans for the rest of the night.
"hey!" kenneth said with excitement. josh and sean returned their greetings to the brown-haired boy. "wait, is that-" before kenneth could finish his sentence, he ran up to aria embracing her into a hug. this surprised aria. he still remembered her.
"how are you? it's been so long since i've seen you in this room." he chuckled. "i'm fine and yeah. it's been too long." she replied with such a faint and weak smile. "you came here to dance?" he continued asking questions. "i actually just followed sean and josh here." she sounded nervous, but she didn't know why she felt this way. "you should just try the new choreography. i'm sure you're just as good as before. and maybe you'll start dancing again. who knows?" he playfully shrugged wearing a stupid smile. "maybe i will, thanks kenneth."
moments later, matt announced that class was officially starting. kenneth excused himself and told her he'll talk to her after class. she started thinking about what ken suggested, which made aria have trouble debating to watch or actually try to dance. sean approached her way with his face slightly covered in sweat from warming up. "you should try dancing again." sean recommended before sipping his bottle of water. "uh, i don't know 'bout that." she said unsure as she scratched her head. "c'mon, it'll be fun." he reached his hand out to aria. in a matter of seconds, she gave it some thought and finally gave in. sean was definitely happy to see her in a dance studio again.
aria was caught up with her family, which took most of her free time, so it became rare for her to attend classes. soon enough, she no longer attended dance workshops with her friends. of course, aria would dance every now and then, but she only danced in front of a dumb mirror in her bedroom. it was almost like she was ashamed of her dancing. sean and her old friends thought otherwise. if it weren't for sean, she wouldn't find her passion for dancing. throughout the years, this passion just turned into a secret of hers.
