To See Our Glory (Percico)(Abused! Percy)

Nico

It was Percy's birthday, so I figured I'd stop by I have done for the past like three years and say hi. I actually got him a present this year, I hope he'd like it.

The note on their front door said Paul and Sally were out of town, what if he was fine. Percy was still home.

He was on the couch.

Shaking.

Crying.

Having a fucking panic attack.

Of course, I rushed to help and to calm.him down. It was his 18th birthday, there's no reason, unless something happened, that he should be like this.

But I swear, Percy's birthday is just a bad omen. His sixteenth was terrible.

It was twenty minutes later before he was calm and breathing regularly.

"I told them," Percy explained to me, referring to the relationship we've hid for a majority of the summer from the others. The plan was that he'd be home for the day today with his parents, if he thought it safe, he could tell them because in doing so, that meant he came out to them not just as being in a relationship with me but as somebody that attracts to men, also.

Before I could ask, he answered.

"Mom was okay with it," Percy told me," Paul isn't there quite yet. He kind of also said that if he found me here when they got back from whatever they're doing, he would beat the shit out me."

Yeah, Percy and I are together. Have been for a few months now. We started hanging out and him and Annabeth had broken up over the year. But, suprisingly enough, I was the one who asked him out, and he was quick to agree to a date.

I let him quickly clean himself up as it was at least easy enough that he was already packed and I got everything in my car (I have now, it makes me less tired than Shadow Travel) and waited for his upstairs once again.

When Percy came back out, he looked immensely better. You could barely tell anything had ever been wrong. Wearing a nice, blue button up with black pants. I gave him a smile of anticipation

"Ready?" I ask, grabbing his hand after he puts his shoes on.

"Let's do it," he confirmed, giving me a kiss on the forehead before letting me turn around and lead him to my car.

Jason

"Do you guys know where Nico is?" Hazel asked Leo and myself. Piper was home now, so it was just us guys and Hazel again. It's a lot of fun, though.

"Nico?" Leo asked," the last time I saw him was breakfast... Is he gone?"

"I don't know," she explains to us," I just thought you guys might know. For all I know he's on the cabin, I haven't checked there yet."

"We'll help you look." I offered up and thus we arrived at Cabin 13.

The place always manages to creep me out even more so every time I visit it and I don't know how.

But yet there was a note on the counter there.

"What does it say?" I ask as Hazel picks it up and starts reading it.

"Hazel," the daughter of Pluto starts off," I'm fine, don't worry. I sort of forgot to tell you I made plans for the day (sorry, it snuck up on me. Whoops.) I'm just in the city (Manhattan) if there's an EMERGENCY. I don't know how long I'll be out, I don't know what his intentions are for... For today. So don't wait up. Signed Nico."

We both noticed her change in expression before she repeated saying "for today."

"Hand me that letter," I requested, placing my hand out as she sighed, giving it over.

"You won't like it," she promised.

I read it in my head.

Hazel:
I'm fine, don't worry. I sort of forgot to tell you I made plans for the day (sorry, it snuck up on me. Whoops.) I'm just in the city (Manhattan) if there's an EMERGENCY. I don't know how long I'll be out, I don't know what his intentions are for our date tonight. So don't wait up.

Okay, really?

She couldn't just say he was on a date?

I placed the letter down and found a pillow on the couch, and proceeded to scream into it as I was laying on my stomach on the couch.

"I told you you'd hate it."

I look up at her.

"No, I think I know who he's with," I reasoned," and it TOOK HIM LONG ENOUGH."

"Who!?" Hazel demanded.

"Percy!"

I thought she was going to faint.

"I... Jason, there's so many reasons that's a no you don't even want to know."

Nico

We went out for dinner and I paid, of course. It was his birthday and I still had presents at camp in his cabin. Waiting for him. But 10 PM comes around and we're just heading back to camp, so I texted Hazel (at a stop sign, it's okay, I was stopped) and assured her I'd be back first thing tomorrow morning. Roads were hell and by the time I got back it'd be 3 AM with how traffic is going.

We did get back around 12:30, and when we snuck into his cabin because it was curfew at midnight, and he saw presents, Percy got really excited.

"You didn't have to get me anything," Percy told me, anxious to see the inside, but also feeling guilty," I didn't get you anything for you birthday. And you also bought dinner."

"Yes I did," I promised, giving him a quick kiss before sitting down next to him on the floor, by the presents," your birthday is once a year. And plus you're 18 now. I had to spoil you at least a little bit. We weren't together around my birthday, so don't feel bad."

He opened his whole 8 things I got him over the past couple months, and I had gotten him Hercules and Finding Dory because I'm a dork and figured he'd love it, getting him a stuffed Baby Dory with a movie and we started watching Hercules, and the last thing I remember was passing out, using his shoulder as a head rest.
