CHAPTER - 4

Damn. But I looked hot. Hot as hell. Oh...I knew I would catch some eyes today.

"So, you like?," I asked Christie who was sitting on my bed strapping her black heel to her ankle, something I was jealous of. I really loved those shoes of hers.

"Yup, and I am so borrowing that dress the next time me and Jax go out. He will have hemorrhage when he sees me in that dress. Damn, but missy you look ravishing."

"Thank you," I flew a kiss to her.

"So is Jax watching Bella today? Or did he hire a babysitter again to watch over her all so he can watch over you. Seriously, that man is over possessive."

"Yeah, tell me about it."

"Yet it's Hoooot!!,"I said to which she snorted. I gave her a pointed look and fanned my face as I walked out.

At my ludicrous action she laughed it off and walked out of the room with me.

"Oh I love this song!!!,"cried Christie.

We spent hours swaying our bodies to the music, drinking to our hearts desires and yet Dean wasn't here yet. He said eight sharp but it was at the moment nine, at this hour I would probably be sleeping from exhaustion or painting, which is quite calming really.

Leaving Christie to herself I walked to our booth and checked my phone yet again. I felt like a desperate woman, someone I would never wanted to be. Seeing my phone screen blank I walked off to the little powder room. Hoping to powder my nose, which means I am actually going to refresh my lip gloss and fix hair.

After dealing with my appearance yet again I walk out and go to the dance floor again only to see Christie at the bar necking with Jax. Not surprising, Jax can't stay away from Christie too long, I think the only reason Christie hasn't broken up with him is because of the immense amount of love they have for each other. It's pretty adorable, but not when your someone who hasn't had a date in almost a year. Not for lack of trying.

Thinking it's better not to bother their make out session I made my way to the dance floor again hoping to dance my worries away.

After dancing to the rhythm for too long I start to wonder where Christie is and look towards the bar and she isn't there. When I looked towards our booth, I see her there sitting with Jax and smiling dreamily into his eyes. This seems to be a default mode for them, to stare into each other's eyes as long as possible. God knows why they continue to do that.

Then suddenly I'm grabbed from behind as a hand wraps around my waist and pull me into a hard chest. Alarmed I move to push the hand off my body and escape when the man's head pushes itself into the nape of my neck kisses it.

"Hey,"a voice whispers.

"Let go of me you big ape", I exclaim, hoping someone will hear me and come for my rescue. I look towards Christie and Jax hoping they notice that I'm in trouble, but they're too absorbed in each other to even see me. I panic and struggle more and grab his hands to push him off me.
