"Who are you?" I said as my heart pounded as swiftly as it could.
The guy said nothing.
"I know you've been following me. What do you want?" I asked, still breathing in the fear in my spines.
He again didn't reply. But he did something more extreme. Grabbing my hand into his, he dragged me out of the place and ended up somewhere isolated. Wasn't the earlier location isolated enough? But all I could think about was that, I was now alone with the mysterious guy I had been fearing, in a deep, noiseless area surrounded with woods.
My veins shivered in both fear and cold, as the guy kept staring at me without uttering a single word. Who was he? He didn't seem familiar in any way. In fact, I had only seen him once. In the park. But I had felt his presence a lot of times though. That whole week. No, maybe that whole month. Now that I think about it, I don't think it had just been a month. I think, he had been following me since high school. Could he? I don't know. But I know there was someone back when I was a high schooler. And now too. And the guy was standing right in front of me.
I tried to pronounce something again, just when someone called out my name from behind. "Yvene?"
I looked around to see Trace in a black hoodie coming towards me. Trace was a guy from my class. I'd be lying though. He was not just a random guy from my class actually. Trace and I had a history. Not such a good time to think about that now, for sure.
I turned back at the guy and got surprised to see he wasn't there. Where did he go?
"What are you doing here?" Trace asked.
"Um..." I mumbled, still roaming my eyes around the trees surrounding us. The guy was nowhere to be seen.
"Well, it's great you're here. I was actually thinking about meeting you." Trace said.
