The Black Kitten

"How did I end up like this" I Said

I was just taking a nap under the tree like I always do. Then I get dragged into this mess with these two idiots who got caught peeping... again. When all I want to do is live a normal life without anybody messing with it. It helps that I've been labelled "The Ice Prince" so no one tries talking to me. No friends no drama no problem. At least till I got dragged into this mess with these two idiots.

"We know you were a part of the peeping so just admit it" A girl said

"But I wasn't peeping" I told them

"Ugggg... This guy's so stubborn just get him" Another girl shouted

I Ran for about an hour before they decided they would get me at school. I looked at the sun it was setting so I knew I had to get home...

Not that they're any need to their no one there to go home to. Because of what that "thing" did to my family. The only that I can remember from that night was wings that were pitch black. The rest is blank. Before I knew it I had made it home. I went inside kicked off my shoes threw my bag to the side and fell asleep on the couch. I woke up to the feeling that I was being watched. I shook it off as paranoia and went on throughout my day. When the bell rang to go home I felt as if I was being followed. I looked around but all I found was a small black kitten. I had always loved Cats. I picked up the cat, smiled and went home. When I got home I set the kitten down on the couch and went to get it something to eat. I grabbed some of the cat food that I got to give to the stray Cats I find. The Cat ate and curled up on my lap and fell asleep. I sat there petting the small black ball of fur for an hour before falling asleep. I woke up and saw that I couldn't find the cat. I began to walk out the door then I felt something land on my shoulder. It was the small black kitten. I tried to get the Cat to get off but it wouldn't budge. So I decided to let the Cat stay. Not that I had a choice. When I got to school I got strange looks from everyone. I was pulled aside by a teacher before 1st period.

"Issei why did you bring a Cat to school" the teacher asked

"She jumped on my head before I left for school and wouldn't get off" I said blankly

"Well you can't bring a Cat to school"

"The Cat won't hurt anyone" I said

"Fine it can stay... but if it causes any trouble it's gone"

"Yes thank you" I said

"Well you'd better hurry to class Issei class is about to start"

After that I hurried to class just in time. The teacher walked in and greeted the class then turned to me.

"Umm... Mr.Hyoudou you can't have a Cat in class please get rid of it" The teacher half said half yelled

"The Cat can stay I was told so" I Said

We argued for a minute before he got sick of yelling and told me to go to the principal's office. After two hours of complaining to the principal, I convinced him to let me keep the Cat. The rest of the day I thought I was being followed by someone. But it didn't feel like they were hostile. I went home took care of the Cat and fell asleep. When I woke up the next morning the Cat was gone again. But I heard rustling in the kitchen. I got up to see a girl in a black kimono with a gold Obi and she had Cat ears and tail. All she did was look at me and smile.

"Mornin, what's up" She said

"Umm.... Who are you"

She just looked and I then realised something.

"Oh, wait you probably don't recognise me like this do you?"

I shook my head no, she made a pouty face then turned around and changed into the little black kitten I had been taking care of.

"Wait you were the black kitten?!" I said slightly shocked

She looked at me and smiled.

"Yea that's me, and my Name is Kuroka" She said cheerfully

I didn't know how to react. She didn't try to hurt me, or steal, or break anything. So I decided to just let things stay as it was but I would have to learn more about why she can do the things she does. It was Saturday so I don't have school. So I tried to know what she could change into a cat and what she was trying to do. So I sat on the couch and asked

"How did you..."

I was cut off by the woman named Kuroka

"You're gonna ask about how I can change aren't ya" Kuroka said

"Y-yes I was how did you..."

"Don't ask, because I don't know..." she said

"Wait why did you...... stay and let me... feed you"

"Because I didn't want to feed myself"

"That is a whole new level of laziness you know that right..." I said

"Can we just stop with the questions I'm hungry..." She said

I was good at cooking since I always cook for myself. So I made her some breakfast. After I was done making food I decided to sit on the couch before I knew it I was getting a little sleepy. I woke up to the Cat sleeping on my lap again. I thought that I just dreamt all that. But when the Cat woke up she stretched and... changed. I sighed and realised that it was about half an hour before midnight. I told Kuroka that I had to do my homework. So I went to do my room to do my homework. About half way through my homework I felt something touch me. I turned around and saw a half asleep Kuroka in a black Kimono with a gold Obi. That wouldn't be a problem... if the kimono weren't slipping off.

"Isssssseeeeeeiiii I'm hungry make me food"

*sigh* "Make it your self"

"Buuut I don't waaaannnnnaaa"

"..."

"Please" she said with a cute pleading look on her face

"... Fine" I said and reluctantly got up to make her food

"YaaaaaaY Foooood"

I made Kuroka some dinner. I don't know why I put up with her. Maybe it's because she can turn into a Cat. That's why I feel... Safer around her. I don't know why but I am. Before I knew it, it was late. I told Kuroka that i had school tomorrow so I have to get some sleep. All she did was yell "Night". I fell asleep thinking about Kuroka.
