"Brother I can't allow Issei to fight Riser" Rias said
"Well it is not your choice, the only was that the battle be stopped is if Issei or Riser don't want to fight" Sirzechs said
"Riser wants to teach that brat a lesson" Riser said
"That means that if Issei says no then the fight won't happen, and that's final" Sirzechs stated
"Riser thanks you Lord Sirzechs" Riser said
I opened the door and walked it acting like I didn't hear the conversation.
"Issei we were just talking about you" said
Grayfia and and Red sent me a nod letting me know that they knew I was there.
"Why were you talking about me?" I asked
"It is about you battle with Riser" Red said
"Yeah what about it" I said
"Issei Don't battle him" said
"Issei if you don't want to fight the battle will be canceled so make you choice" Red said
"I want to fight Riser and his Peerage" I said
"There you go you have your answer" Red told
"And Issei you need to get better at hiding" Red told me
"What do you mean" asked
"He was sitting on the other side of the door eavesdropping" Red told everyone
"Wait what... I didn't sense him at all" Yumi commented
"Yea he hid his and Kuroka's presence" Red said
"Well , now that you know the fight is for sure I'm going to leave" I said as I turned around
"Well Hyoudou I can't wait to burn you to a crisp" Riser said
"Yea, yea you useless Yakitori" I said as I closed the door.
I could hear Riser ranting about how I called him Yakitori. On the walk home I thought about how Kuroka was more clingy today. She was more clingy than usual. Normally she would just cling to tease me or others. But today it was a possessive kind of clingy.
"Hey Kuroka" I said
"Hmm? What Nya~" She said
"Why are you so Clingy today" I asked
"Hehe... No reason" She said with her tail swaying back and forth
"Don't lie Kuroka" I told her
"I'm not" she said
"Kuroka..." I said with a displeased tone
"Fine, fine it's just that I'm happy" Kuroka said
"Really that's all..." I said with a Monotone Voice
"Mhm" She said still swaying her tail
I thought about what's going to happen tomorrow. So I decided to ask Kuroka a question.
"Are you sure you want to help me durring the fight?" i asked
"Yessy" She replied
"Why you know I'll be fine on my own" I told her.
"Yeah I know I just want to" She said
We made it home luckily tomorrow was a sunday so we had no school. I tossed my stuff to the side and sat on the couch.
"Kuroka did he say the fight was going to happen?" I asked
"He said somewhere around 2 o'clock" Kuroka said
"So we have some time to relax" I told her
"Yessy" she said as she plopped onto the couch
"Don't you get any funny ideas" I said
"Don't worry I won't" She said as she turned into a cat and climbed onto my lap
"What are you doing?" I asked
"Taking a nap" she told me as she curled up and laid down
"Ok then" I said with a sigh
I sat there watching t.v. while I waited for the time to pass. Around 1 o'clock and the others walked in.
"Issei are you sure you want to fight Riser" asked with some concern
"Yea im sure" I told her
"Why do you want to fight him so much" asked
"I already told you It's a secret" I told her
"Tell me" Rias demanded
"Nope it's a secret" I told her again
My watch beeped letting me know that it was 1:45. I woke up Kuroka and got up.
"Well I guess it's time to go" I said as I created a magic circle
" I'll see you later ok?" I said
"Just Don't die ok" she said with a sigh
"Yea, Yea..." I said as we teleported away
I was in the House of Gremory. Red was explaining how a Rating game would work.
"When you have taken too much damage you will automatically be teleported out and taken to an infirmary. Got it?" Red asked
"Yes we do" I told him
"Then we will go" Red said
"Wait before we go can I ask something" I said
"Go ahead" Red said
"Can I not be announced as part of the Gremory household" I asked
"Why would you ever want to do that" He asked
"Because I meant for this match to be personal and not drag other houses into this" I said
"Then yes I can make that happen" he said as he teleported us
Me and Kuroka appeared in the old club house.
"This looks like the school" I said
Grayfia's voice suddenly boomed from somewhere.
"This match will be between Riser from the House of Phenex, And Issei and Kuroka"
"Heh... thanks Red" I said
"Hmmm? Why are you thanking him" Kuroka asked
"Because he took the "From the House Of Gremory" Out of our title" I said
"The battle Will Start... Now!"
