The frigid wind blows strongly and chills the skin on my face causing the tip of my nose to burn brighter pink with cold. I pull the thick wool scarf back over the bottom face of my face. My hard eyes slide across the landscape looking for inconsistecies. The bright white snow covers everything making the thick trees look black against the white sky and ground. I jump down from the tree branch and land quietly on the top of a pile of snow. I sink in several inches before pulling my feet out to trudge lightly on the surface of millions of frozen crystallized droplets of steam. A dark figure jumps down from a branch to my right. I continue walking along as the figure pulls up next to me. My eyes dart over to look at them for a moment before looking back at the horizon in front of me. A husky chuckle resounds next to me. A small smile plays on my lips.

A deep voice quietly whispers, "You think you look so badass, don't you?" I grin wide as I turn my head to stare at him.

"Jackass," I grumble in an amused tone. I shake my head and push on into the evil swirling whiteness ahead.
