My family is not the only creatures that lurk the woods of Sterling. The Mutts as my mother call them also claim territory here. I have never encountered one but mother has and she says they are horrid filthy creatures who capture women and rape them until they are pregnant with their kin, and once they give birth the women are then killed and the child  joins the pack when they come of age to transition into wolves.

         Sometimes I swear I hear them howling, but mother has always told me to stay as far away as possible especially when they turn into wolves. Because a single scratch from a werewolf could end any vampire. They live in a tribe westward of the mountains called the Teli'que Tribe. I've never seen one but mother says they are Native American with golden brown skin and jet black hair they never leave the tribe they have there own city in that one area with a store and a school and homes a little to advanced if you ask me for 'filthy-beast'.
I sometimes see flames from their tribe I've always wanted to go and find out what it was but I know they hate us, because they think we are evil they think we kill for the fun of. They call us Skin Walkers and they don't mess with us to avoid conflict, mother some how came to an agreement with them and we split the mountain that's separated by the Great Lake of Sterling that cuts the mountain perfectly in half.
