"Lydia are you insane?" My mother shouted at me.

"Mom it's not what you think. Look he's my mate. Rules say that once they find there mate the must move in." She gave me a cold glare and huffed. Throwing the drying cloth on the island in the kitchen.

"Lydia you don't even know his name. How could you possibly go into a mans arms if you don't even know him?" She sat down on the couch and started rubbing her temples.

"Go meet him tomorrow and pack your stuff." I squealed and gave her a big hug. I was about to walk up the stairs.

"But on one condition me and your father will secretly be in the bushes. I don't want this man to hurt you." I let out a sigh.

"Fine." I went upstairs and packed all my things. I looked outside my window to see a pair of blue eyes staring at me. In a blink they were gone. I stepped into the shower letting the warm water soothe me. Getting out of the showering I glance at the moon and star on my on collar bone. (Birth mark) I've never known what it meant but my mother said that it meant I was special.

"Lydia?" I jumped and shrieked. Covering my body with the towel.

"Lydia its just me. Your dad. We need to talk." Shouting outside of the bathroom door.

"Damnit! Don't scare me like that. Let me get dressed." Hearing the door to my room close. Throwing sweats and a shirt on as my pyjamas.

"You can come in now." I told him. You sat dont on my bed and ran his fingers through his hair. Looking at me as if I was a criminal.

"Is something wrong?" I asked . What could we be mad at? The laws are in black and white saying "Once a wolf finds their mate they must move in with the male" or he's just upset that I haven't talked to him yet. I was going to, but I assume mom has told him already by the look he's giving me.

"I just want you to know that if he hurts you. Come-" I cut him off before he could finish

"I know dad. It's okay he's seems like a decent guy. Trust me." I grabbed his hand and he gave a small smile in return.

"Better get off to bed for the big day tomorrow." He planted a small kiss on my forehead. "Goodnight sweetheart."

"Dad you don't need to treat me like a twelve year old. I'm twenty." He let out a huge sigh and walked out of the room closing the door behind him. Getting up and brushing my teeth. Flopping onto my bed and letting the bed consume all my worries. Curling up to the covers and falling soundly asleep.

Lydia's POV

"Lydia? Lydia? LYDIA!" Someone shouted into my ear and shaking me. Shooting up from my slumber and glaring at this morning monster who has woken me up from my beauty sleep.

"Come on sleepy head. Time to wake up and pack up to Meet your dreamy boy!" Shouted Marina. I glared at her. She has to much energy for so early in the morning. Looking at the clock to see it read 11:45 . Looks like I slept in once more.

"I wanted to take you shopping at the mall to get some undergarments. " she gave grin and winked. Blushing and looking at my comforters.
