Chapter seven

"Is she okay? Can I see her?" I asked him.

"She will be out for a couple days. She lost a lot of blood. She hasn't been able to drink any blood though. Which has weakened her even more. Yes. You can see her just be gentle." He explained. I rushed to her room and saw my little mate laying in the hospital bed looking so pale. I pulled up a chair beside her bed and touched her cold hand. I watched her chest fall up and down slowly. Listing to the heart monitor go off every second. I stray tear slid down my cheek as I was looking down at my mate.

"I'm sorry my love. I have failed you. Please forgive me." I placed my lips on her bruised  hand. I stared at her until my eyes felt heavy and I fell into a deep slumber.

Micheals POV

My eyes fluttered opened and I saw my little mate sleeping in the hospital bed. Her wounds and scratches haven't healed yet meaning her wolf was weak. I placed my lips on her cold lips. There were no sparks as there usually would be. The doctor came in to change her bandages. I let out a soft growl warning him not to come any closer.

"Alpha Micheal we have to change the bandages otherwise the wounds will get infected." His voice was shaky. I finally gave up and let him change the bandages. Watching him like a hawk. He took of the wrap off of her stomach and it exposed a deep wound that was still gooey with blood. I winced at the deep cut.

"Could you help me? I need you to lift her up so I can wrap it around her stomachs." I nodded and lifted her up from the bed he wrapped the gauze around her stomach four times. I set her gently on the bed.

"We need to change her out of these clothes and wash her up." He was pushing it to far. I walked over to him and picked him up by the neck. Kevin grabbed something from his white coat. I realized what is was. It was anesthetic in a needle. I tired to stop him from injecting into the back of my neck but I was to late. I fell to the cold hard floor.

"Fuck." Was the last thing I said before falling to a deep slumber.

Lydia's POV

"She should be waking up by now." I heard a mans voice. I tried to wake up. I wanted to see my mate. I wanted his touch, his comfort.

"Poor Micheal. Lydia not waking up has beaning pushing Micheal over the edge." I heard a woman's voice that sounded like Evelyn. I heard a grunt and movement of a sheets.

"Is she awake? Why the hell did you put me asleep?" I heard my mates voice making my stomach churn with butterfly's. His hand grabbed mine and sparks shot through my body. My mates touch woke both Nina and Lucine from their deep slumber.

"Sorry Alpha. You went out of control and could have killed Doctor Kevin." Evelyn said

"Who changed her?" He growled. Although I couldn't see anything, I could still imagine a very pissed off sexy looking Micheal.

"I did." Evelyn shakily said. Her voice was like leaves falling to the ground. So gentle but loud once you get her pissed off.

"How is she?" I heard a loud door slam and I could regonize that voice anywhere. It was Marinas. Thank goddess she's okay. I tried to open my eyes. My eyes finally fluttered open and I was blinded by a bright light. Once my eyes readjusted to the bright light there was a Micheal hovering over me.

"Micheal." My voice came out raspy. Kevin brought me a cup of water. I nodded in appreciation. The cold water felt so soothing on my dry throat. I readjusted my position and and pain shot through my stomach. My eyes welled up in how much pain I was in. I held them back. I looked over at Marina and guilt quickly covered her face.

"Lydia I'm so sorry! This was all my fault!" She rushed over to me and she was on the verge of crying.

"No its not your fault we couldn't have prevented it. Don't blame yourself. Besides look I'm fine. I'm not dead that's for sure." She let out a small laugh and wiped away a stray tear. She gave me a hug and I winced in pain but tired to hide it. She pulled away and Micheal was next in line for hugs but he probably wanted kisses and was well. He gave me a hug and a  little peck on the lips.

"I was so worried about you Lydia. Don't do that to me ever again!" We pressed our foreheads together and sat their in silence. Until Kevin let out a cough.

"She will be able to leave after we run some tests and no movement unless your going to the bathroom. Your are to stay in bed for two days." I groaned. I'm going to get fat in those to days. Micheal chuckled. They did some blood work and made sure everything was working. The tests came out fine and I could go back home.

"Do you want a wheelchair Luna?" Doctor Kevin asked bringing out a wheelchair. I shakes my head.

"No thank-you." I replied. I placed my feet on the cold ground and tried to stand up before falling back into the bed.

"Do you want me to carry you?" I nodded. He picked me up being very gentle. My wound throbbed but nothing to serious. We were getting looks from the pack members but I didn't care. I loved just being in my mates arms. We got to our house and he placed me onto the black and white patterned bed. I cuddled up beside him.

"Go to sleep Lydia."   I did. Sleep welcomed me.

"Mikey! Please!!" I begged him. I wanted to for a run. Having my wolf caged up for three days has been killing me.

"No. You need to rest." He said sternly. I sat leaned back on the bed and pouted. I bit down hard on my lip till it bled.

"Stop being seductive." He clenched his jaw. I winked at him and bit my lip once more. He rushed over to me and kissed me deeply. Our kiss was filled with lust and love. He trailed his kisses down my jawline to my neck. He landed on my soft spot and I gasp and grabbed his hair. He looked at me his eyes shifted from blue to black, his Wolf was taking control. I kissed him.

"We need to stop otherwise I might loose control." He said out of breath. Nina pushed me to kiss him more. I kissed him with passion but we pulled away. My Wolf howled in pain that our mate rejected us.

"I can't." And he left the room leaving me in tears.

He rejected us Nina whined. Looking at the window. I got up and slowly walked  to the window.  I looked down the window it was a ten foot drop.

You can always use me, besides you've weakened because of our thirst. Luncine chimed in. I agreed with her I could feel her pushing her through, and I let her. I climbed down the house and ran through the forest. I sniffed the air and I smelled a deer. Lunging at the deer I sank my fangs in the deers flesh and sucked the life out of the deer. Licking the blood off my lips with satisfaction. I built a little tree house with my supernatural speed. The tree house was rustic and dirty but I didn't care. I didn't feel like going back to the house, I didn't want to see our mate even if I wanted comfort from him. I didn't want to speak to him. I need spaces. I curled up in the tree house. My eyelids shut close and a stray tear slid down my already tear stained cheeks. I let sleep takeover me.
