As I began to leave to follow Simon and other men as they left the sanctuary. I saw Logan running towards me. "Where you going?" he asked looking up at me. "I'm just going to go out looking for some things." I said as I kneeled down to his level. "Are you going to go look for daddy?" he asked sadly. His dad had been at the outpost that was attacked. He had only gone there for that day to bring supplies for them. "No baby, daddy had to leave." I tried to say calmly. "Why don't you go find aunt Maya. You can spend the day with her while I'm gone." "Okay!" he replied now smiling trying to change the subject.

I saw Maya walking towards us. "Hey" she said. "Hi,. He asked about Jason again today." "You okay?" she asked concerningly. "Yeah, I think so anyway. I'm going to follow Simon and his group. Find out what the hell's going on." I paused calming my tone. "Could you watch Logan while I'm gone." I asked. "You're really going risk him losing another parent" she said. "He won't" I replied sternly then walked away from her. I went over to Logan and bent down to his level again "Goodbye little man!" I said as I hugged him. "I'll be back for dinner. Okay?" I said to him. "Okay! I love you mommy!" he said still hugging me. "I love you too!" I said as I began to walk away.

I followed Simon and some other men that left the sanctuary. They had the road blocked with cars. I saw Simon and another man drag a body out from the woods. He was still alive. I kept myself far enough away so there wasn't a chance of anyone seeing me. But yet to far away so that I could only hear some of the things they said. Simon was now talking to that almost dead man. To end their conversation Simon kicked him in the side of his chest. They now just stood on the road waiting for something. I soon knew what they were waiting for when I saw an RV drive around the corner.

The RV pulled up and stopped. Four men, a woman, and a young boy stepped out out. Simon looked down at the man laying of the ground. "He's someone who was with a whole lot of someones who didn't listen." Simon said to the group. "We can make a deal, right here, right now." Said a man from the RV. My guess is that he was the leader. I could tell by how he was the first to come out, the first to speak and that everyone stayed behind him. "That's right, we can." replied Simon. "Give us all your stuff. We'll probably have to kill one of you. That's just the way it is, but then we can start moving forward on business. All you have to do is listen." Simon preached to the other group. There was a moment of silence. "Yeah... That deals not going to work for us." The leader of the group said. I looked down at the ground where I was standing. "Fact is, I was just about to ask for all of your stuff, only I'm thinking I don't have to kill any of you."The man said.

I shook my head 'You idiot' I thought. "There is no way you getting out of this pile of shit" I said quietly towards the group. Then I heard it. "Any more of you." the leader continued. I froze. Jason. It was them , they had done it. I didn't feel sorry for them until I remembered what Negan would do to them when he found out. A man started shaking a can of spray paint and drew an X on the man lying on the ground. "Sorry, my deal is the only deal. We don't negotiate." Simon said. "Me and my people are leaving." the leader said as his group started to walk away.

Then I heard Simon yell "Okay, friend. Plenty of ways to get where you're going." "You want to make today your last day on Earth?" Said the man as he was getting in the RV. "No," Simon replied, "but that is a good thing to bring up. Think about it. What if it's the last day on Earth for you? For someone you love? What if that's true?" He paused for a moment. "Maybe you should be extra nice to those people in that RV, cause you never know..." Simon said as he snapped his fingers. "Just like that. Be kind to each other. Like you said... Like it was your last day on Earth." I looked over to the leader. "You do the same." he said then stepped into the RV. Simon waved at the group. Then kicked the man on the ground as an small example to them as of what might happen.

I could hear gunshots in the distance. It was another group of Saviors. They had blocked another road. I followed Simon and some people from that group left. They started cutting down trees and laying them across the road to block the RV's path. They also brought the man from the road and tied a chain around his neck. I couldn't watch what I knew would happen next. I left Simon's group to go back to the Sanctuary.
