Chapter twelve

Tides pov~~

As I arrived back at camp half blood I ran down to the beach.

I waited. And waited. And waited.

756. 757. 758. Ooh butterfly! 759. 760.
I thought to my self as I lay beside the waves.

Just then a small string of water rose from the wave that had rolled into the shore.

That's odd

I reached out to touch it. Then right as I was about to touch it a giant wave the size of a house forms a foot from my face.

"Oh....my...gods..." I whisper right as it falls on top of me soaking me.

"What the Hell?" I ask looking around.
Nobody was there.

I stomped up the the edge of the ocean and tried to kick a wave. It moved away from my foot and I fell backwards.

"This isn't funny!" I yell at the water.

"Yah it is." Leo comes from behind me and snaps a picture of me drenched covered in sand.

I roll my eyes at him.

"I thought Poseidon kids can't get wet." He helps me stand up.

"They can if they're not ready for a giant wave." I try to brush sand off but fail miserably.

"Hello!" Percy smiles holding Annabeth a hand. Completely dry I might add coming up from the water. "I see you had trouble" he laughs at me.

"Why you little--"  I point at him.

He raises his eyebrow then looks at Annabeth.

My eyes got wide. "Did you? Did she? Did-did-did?!" I ask excitedly.

"I said yes!" She squeals then Hugs me tight. Then retreats sipping sand off her chest

"Congrats! I've always wanted a sister!" I laugh and jump up and down with her.

"Engaged!" Leo looks shocked.

"Yes!" Percy smiles.

"Cool dude!" Leo and him give each other a 'guy' hug. Then just full on hug.

"But we decided to not get married until we're 20." She smiles.

"That sounds smart." I smile at her.

"So that's like." Leo scratches his head. "3 years away" he concludes.

"Yep." Percy nods.

"Let's go tell everyone!" I run off to the dining pavilion where dinner had started. Then I jump up on top of my table. And stomp my feet until everyone looks at me.

"Hello everyone!" I smile.

"...Tide?" Chiron raises his eyebrow at me.

"Yes hold on Chiron" I nod to him. "I have very important news!" I shout to all the tables.

They look at me weirdly. Probably because 1 I'm covered in sand and dripping with water or 2 I'm standing on a table in the middle of dinner or 3 I probably look crazy.

"My brother and Annabeth" I smile spreading my arms.

Just then Percy and Annabeth bust in.

"Are getting married" I finish.

Absolute silence fills the hall, then everyone turns to look at a wide eyed Percy and Annabeth.

They look at me with a whathaveyoudone look. Whoops. I guess it was a secret.
