He had grown unbearably tired of the fake comfort and affection. Become sick of the sympathetic support, and the fact it was the closest feeling to care he would get.
They stumbled upon one another and silently wondered whether the pair of them were more alike than what seemed. As if though they had learnt to breathe in the same way, maybe just relying on their own form of air. That they were ultimately a part of the same broken world, slowly passing each day with a matching, awaiting stare.
