Chapter 1

'Mama' blasted from every corner of the room as Aiko, Catalaya, Rae Sook, Kyung Soon, and Hayeong kept up with the music... or tried to keep up with it. Catalaya stopped the music. "Yah, we need to get this right. Hayeong-ah, you keep missing the start of the dance break. I need you to keep up." Hayeong sat on the floor and leaned back on her hands. " What are we even doing this for? It's not like it's for an evaluation." Catalaya rolled her eyes. " It's for Kaisoo's birthday, you turd. Now get up and let's do it again." Before Catalaya could turn the music back on, the door opened and Yo Geon walked in the room. Hayeong hopped up and bowed with the other girls. "Hello, ladies. You're wanted in PD-nim's office." They nodded and followed him to the office. Sooman, Youngmin, and 4 other girls were already seated in the office. "Annyeonghaseyo PD-nim." he motioned for them to sit. "I'm sure you all are wondering why I've called you in here" they nodded.

 "I'm sure there has been rumors going around amongst the trainees that there was a possibility of a new girl group and I'm sure that everyone has been anxious to when evaluations are going to start. This time, we are going about things differently." Soo Man turned to Yo Geon. "Ladies, meet your manager." Yo Geon bowed. "Hello, ladies. I hope we will have good times together." "Yo Geon had a hand in picking all of you. Since he has seen you all in training more than I or Youngmin has, I thought it would best if he for this project." Jieqiong raised her hand. "Project? Is this not our permanent group?" Soo Man shook his head. "No, this group is very permanent. It's just more special to SM. As you know, SNSD is the country's top girl group. They have been around for almost 10 years and we know that sooner or later, disbandment will happen. We thought that before that happened, we should pass the tourch down to 9 more girls." The girls nodded. "So we're basically SNSD pt. 2?" Min Jun asked. "Yes, but not as cute. Also, we want to get the ladies of SM into Japan more, starting with you of course." Soo Man looked across the room, smiling lightly. "For now, Yo Geon will be escorting you to your new dorm and start preparing for your debut."
