In the morning when Freddie woke up there was no one next to him. He wondered if it was a dream, but surely it wasn't, there was still a print from her sleeping in the bed. Freddie got up, somewhat confused, Mary had never left him like this before. He looked at the clock and it was 10:34, then he noticed a slight hissing coming from the bathroom, it had to be the shower. He silently snuck in to the bathroom but not into the shower like he did last night.
Freddie listened closely, as something did not seem right. He heard a faint whimper, and then sobbing, he could tell it was Mary. Had he done something wrong? Had he hurt her feelings? Had he gone too far? All these nervous panics buzzed through Freddie's head. He couldn't have done anything wrong, he LOVED her.Freddie walked out into the hallway of the hotel, all of a sudden, a voice came from the room to the left of his "Freddie come in, we need to talk, NOW." No mistake, it was Brian. Freddie entered Brian's room, it smelled so good compared to the cigarette and alcohol stenches Freddie was used to.
"What do you need darling?" Freddie asked.
"It's about Mary, well, me and her have been dating for 2 years now, and umm last night."
"What the fuck Brian? Why didn't you say something last night?"
"I couldn't, it was too hard. This morning she met me outside of your room, I told her I'm done with her and I never wanna see her again. If she is backstage or anywhere near me during the tour then you will have to find a new guitarist. I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm just very mad."
"I understand darling, if I would've known I would've never done such a thing! Oh Brian I'm so sorry." A tear ran down Brian's cheek, a tear of anger and resentment.
"It's okay Freddie. I'm gonna get ready, you should too, we're leaving soon." Freddie walked out with no questions asked. He felt horrible, what kind of friend would do that? It wasn't his fault though, he didn't know, but he just couldn't help feeling guilty about it. Was it because he loved her? Was it because she wanted to make Brian jealous? Why do things always have to go wrong?
