Y/n Pov.

Willow: "Bitch, are you even paying attention to me?" I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at them.

Y/n: "What?" They all laughed except Willow.

Kendall: "Babe, are you okay? You seem distracted from the time you woke up?" I finished my coffee and shrugged.

Y/n: "I guess I'm just nervous about seeing my family." I shared a look with Willow, who understood what I meant.

Zayn: "Why? Are they that bad?" I sat back and thought about how I should answer this question.

Willow: "Yeah, Y/n, are they that bad?" she asked sarcastically.

Y/n: "My family is fine. I meant I haven't seen them in a long time, so I'm excited about seeing them. But my extended family..." I pursed my lips.

Willow: "A bunch of bitches. The men, too." I choked out a laugh and shook my head.

Bella: "Damn, that's an interesting way of explaining it." Willow nodded.

Y/n: "I wish she were wrong. There's a lot of politics in my family, a whole lot of them spoke shit about my mom and us saying that because we have money now, we don't keep up with them and only care about ourselves." I explained, thinking about all the drama that went down a few years ago.

Abel: "For real?" I nodded.

Y/n: "We went through a really bad time a few years back. We almost lost everything, and it was investments that my mom and dad made that didn't work out, so we were broke. Like completely and utterly broke, we were close to losing our house and everything we owned." They stared at me, shocked.

Kendall: "What? Why didn't you tell me about this?" She frowned.

Y/n: "It just brings back bad memories, and I don't like the headspace it puts me in when I think about it." I sighed, "It was bad, though. Mom ended up in the hospital with everything that happened, and then my dad, so it was just my sisters and me trying to figure it out. I couldn't do much because I was still young and my sisters took a lot on. We reached out to the family for help, and they never did a thing. My mom's cousin was like an angel. He gave us everything we needed to get our lives back together, and to this day, he and his siblings are the only ones we speak to. And some other family members as well. But other than that, we've been on the outs. We only agreed to this because all the elderly people wanted this so yeah, I'm about to see all the people we called a bunch of bitches." They stared at me, speechless.

Gigi: "Your life should be a book. A really good juicy book." I chuckled.

Y/n: "Yeah, so it's not going to be the best thing to walk into. I also took off with a lot of my aunts because they spoke shit about us and I told them they're a bunch of gold diggers so life is going to be interesting in a few hours..." I puffed my cheeks out.

Hailey: "So do we need to have the police on speed dial?" Willow gave a thumbs up.

Willow: "Maybe, but knowing Y/n, she will be quiet about it unless provoked." I shrugged.

Y/n: "I'm a good child. A child of God." They all gave me a look.

Kylie: "Oh, so you're lying now?" I rolled my eyes and felt Kendall kiss my cheek.

Kendall: "I'll be a brawler for you today," I chuckled and pecked her lips.

Y/n: "That's my girl." She smiled and kissed me back.

Hailey: "Get a room." I pulled away and shrugged.

Travis: "You're a good kid. If they have a problem, it's because they're the problem."
