Y/n Pov.
I opened one eye, looked around the dimly lit room, and turned to my side to see Kendall sleeping peacefully. I grabbed my phone and saw the time, sighing.
Y/n: "Pretty girl," I kissed her forehead and felt her move. "Wake up, for me..." She moved closer to me and groaned.
Kendall: "No." I laughed and held her in my arms. "I feel like death." I shook my head.
Y/n: "I know you do. It's half five right now..." She moved away and looked at me.
Kendall: "In the morning?" I nodded, making her groan again, "Y/n, I'm tired." I hummed.
Y/n: "I know that, but I want to take you somewhere." I kissed her head.
Kendall: "You can take me somewhere at nine." I chuckled and looked at those brown orbs.
Y/n: "Please? I want to make it up to you for yesterday." I saw her tired eyes close before she groaned.
Kendall: "Fine." I kissed her head and let go of her.
Y/n: "I'll go get ready first." I covered her up before making my way to the bathroom.
I did my morning routine and called the ladies downstairs, asking them to make a small picnic basket for us while Kendall was in the shower. I sat on the bed and watched her get ready, looking grumpy and tired.
Kendall: "You're so lucky it's you and not anyone else right now." I helped her put on her shoes and leaned up to kiss her.
Y/n: "I know, I'm very grateful." She rolled her eyes and grabbed my face, kissing me again.
Kendall: "Just needed that," I hummed when she pecked my lips again and pushed my face away. "Let's go to wherever you're taking me." I laughed.
Y/n: "Come on, grumpy." I held my hand out for her and left our room. We went downstairs to the lobby, making me grab the basket the receptionist had prepared for us and thanked her for the blankets and towels.
Kendall: "What is all this?" I gave her some towels to carry and shrugged my shoulders.
Y//n: "This is me trying to surprise you." We walked out of the hotel and walked across, going to the beach.
Thank God the beach was right opposite us, and it was private. Sometimes money does talk.
I found a spot that wasn't visible to many people and placed everything down. I moved Kendall to stand in one place and started setting the blankets up. I set out the drinks, glasses, and food before turning around and smiling at her.
Y/n: "Surprise!" She crossed her arms over her chest and smiled.
Kendall: "And what is this supposed to be?" I shrugged.
Y/n: "This is me trying to make up for yesterday, and also, I think I owe you a date since I haven't really taken you out on one. My game has been lacking." Kendall walked closer to me and kissed me.
Kendall: "I'm not so mad that you woke me up so early anymore." I chuckled.
Y/n: "I'm glad. Come on, let's eat..." I sat down and pulled the girl on top of me. She giggled before pulling me into another kiss.
Kendall: "This reminds me of our first date." She played with my hair, "The panic, the sunrise, that stupid look in your eyes." I sat up and felt her adjust herself so she was straddling me.
Y/n: "Stupid look in my eye? What's that supposed to mean?" She grabbed some grapes, putting one in my mouth.
Kendall: "It means you've always had that look in your eyes. When you look at me, it... shines. You look at me like I'm the only woman you see." I leaned forward and kissed her nose.
