Chapter 8

Ben's POV

"A-allyson..?" I grabbed her hand and looked straight in her eyes. Her eyes were watering. "Are you okay?"

"Ahh, yeah, I'm fine." She smiled.

"That's good...." I looked down. "I'm sorry for pushing you... I was just out of control, I didn't know what I was doing... If I didn't pushed you, this wouldn't happen to you..."

"Hey, it's not your fault, well technically it is, but it was an accident right? You didn't mean it." I looked back at her, she was still smiling.

"I'm sorry too for trying to kill you." I turned my head and saw Masky. He walked towards Allyson and took her hand. "By the way, I'm Masky, pleasure to meet you." He kissed her hand. What the fuck did he just do?!

"Oh. Uhh- nice to meet you too Masky..." Allyson removed her hand from Masky's. "My name is Allyson..."

"What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl," Masky looked at me and smirked. "Too bad you're already taken." He looked back at Allyson and smiled. My blood is boiling from anger. Blood was streaming down my face. Allyson looked at me.

"B-ben are you alright?" I didn't answered, instead I got up and left the room.

Allyson's POV

Ben stood up and left the room. So it was just Masky and me left.

"Hey, do you like him?" My attention shift from him. I turned red.

"W-what?! I mean, no I don't." I kept a stern face so it wouldn't be obvious. He leaned forward and stared at my face. I was getting intense, I was sweating. My face was burning up. I couldn't handle it, I turned away.

"Just tell the truth, I won't tell anyone." He gave me a sly smile.

I signed. But still didn't respond. "Where do you think Ben is?" I changed the topic.

"Out for a kill." He said in a chill tone.

"Oh okay—what?! Kill?!" My eyes widened with shock.

"Yeah, when he's gone, he's out killing people. That's what we all do." I looked at him, looking for a sign that he was joking, but he was dead serious. I tried accepting that he—they, are killers.

"By the way, why are you wearing a mask?" I asked put os curiosity.

"Well, when I'm out killing, I don't want anybody to know who I am." He said.

"Oh, but you're not out there killing," I want to see his face, I want to know what he looks like. "I want to see your face, can I?"

"As you wish milady." He removed his mask.
