I was on my computer looking at my computer and I noticed a notification on my screen. Alice made the final bid on her art. I bought her painting for $20,000 as my final bid but before the final bid. Someone tried to outbid me, but I won that painting fair and square. I'm getting her painting, you mother fucker. It's mine.

I grinned evilly as I laughed. I sighed realizing that I was actually laughing. I couldn't understand how can she make my heart so crazy for her. I hardly ever laughed in amusement just smirked with evil. No other female made me this way. Was it because she didn't run away for who I was? She was different. She didn't recognize me because she didn't know who I was and because she was new to this city. But her best friend knew who I was.

That friend of hers is very well informed about this place. But Alice is a huge mystery. What is she hiding that she wants no one to find out? What really happened when they found them? Who stabbed the man? Who saved her? So many unanswered questions.

I looked at the number on my arm. I need to save it before I wash it away. Should I call her or text her. But I'm too nervous to call her.

Oh shit. Am I nervous? I'm never nervous about anything not even in meetings.

I'm just going to call her.

Ring ring

"Hello?" I froze a bit. I can do it.

"Hey, it's me. I'm the one who saved you from the bad guy?"

Bad guy? I sound like a kid.

"Oh! I remember? Do you need me to come over to the police station?"

"Oh, no. They got the information they need." I lied to her. I hate lying to her, but it's for the best.

"Really? How strange? They usually want to talk to the victim, but I guess they got all the information they need then it's fine." She giggled. Her laugh was unbelievably adorable. I want her now.

Shit, I'm getting a boner.

"Thank you for saving me. Something bad would've happened if you hadn't come." She quiet for a bit. I heard a mumble on the other side of the phone. "Thanks again."

"No problem."

"Until next time, bye."

"Bye." What was that quiet moment she had? Was she talking someone else in the room? She probably was talking to her cat or something? How strange.

Alice

I woke up the next morning by the sound of Tigger's meowing for food.

"I know my lord. I will get your food immediately your majesty." I chuckled. The past two years, I have been feeling strange of my surroundings lately like someone was watching me, not in a bad way but in a good way. Is it strange? I'm probably being paranoid about this.

I sighed deeply. I gave Tigger his food. I should get him an auto feeder so that I can sleep in instead being bothered all the time for food. I should get another cat. He needs company.

...

A new cat it is! I should get a girl. He'll have a girlfriend. No! The only girlfriend he needs is me. I'll get him a little brother instead. I'll go to Petco and need to ship my finished art to the owner of my painting. I need to scan it too so I can make a printed copy of it.

I arrived at Petco to buy more food and adopt a new kitten. I am so happy. I wanted to explore the aquatic area to see any new pretty fishes that I can buy for my fish tanks. I have like two big fish tanks and one nano tank. One is like 75-gallon tank with a variety of fancy fantail goldfishes. The second one is also a 75-gallon tank with plant life with small fishes and one betta. The last is a nano tank with plant landscape with just a betta. I love my animals.

I rolled my cart to look at the fishes and at the same time get some fish food and important bottles that I needed for my tanks. There is a fish I was interested in, but I bumped into someone.

"Oh, I'm so sorry." I immediately apologized.

"It's okay. It was an accident." I recognized that voice. I looked up at him and it was the guy from last night.

What a coincidence.

"It's you!" I pointed out.

"Well, what a coincidence. I didn't think I would see you again. How are you feeling?" He asked me carefully.

"I'm pretty good and you?" Now that we are seeing each other in broad daylight, unlike last night, he looked even more handsome than yesterday. He was wearing casual clothing today, in which made him just as good as his suit. I could see his muscle flex underneath his t-shirt and his biceps, oh man, they were Greek gods made from the heavens.

"I'm good. What are you doing here?"

"I came to get cat supplies and fish supplies. I'm also planning to adopt a cat today." I smiled widely. I noticed he looked away for a bit to look at the fishes.

"Th-that's good. I see you love your animals."

"Oh, yes I do. I love them soo much. Are you here to get a fish today?"

"Ummm...well, I'm planning to get a new fish tank and then get new fishes."

"Oh, that's great!" I was excited for him. "I have like three fish tanks at home."

"Three?!"

"Yes, three." I giggled at his reaction. I would expect people to react like that.

"Why do you have three fish tanks."

"Because I love fishes, but I am planning to move out my apartment into a bigger house. I'm planning to become fancy goldfish breeder."

"YOU'RE MOVING OUT?!" He yelled in shock. It startled a bit. Why is he so shocked about it? Isn't it normal to move out when you need a bigger space?

"Ummm, yes." I stared at him, confused at his emotions. "Are you okay?"

"Uhh, yes. Sorry. Do you want any fish? I could buy you one."

"Oh, no, you don't have to."

"I insist." He persisted. I guess he willing to buy me a fish, then I have no problem with that. Free fish for me!
